Hilton has announced an exciting new partnership with British-based YOTEL, marking a significant expansion of its global footprint. This franchise agreement will increase Hilton’s presence in over ten countries, with 23 YOTEL properties currently in operation. These hotels are strategically located in urban centers and airport hubs, offering an asset-light model within the rapidly growing lifestyle segment. This move is set to provide Hilton Honors members with even more opportunities to earn and redeem points, as well as enjoying the perks of elite status to enhance their travel experiences.
Introducing Select by Hilton
As part of this partnership, Hilton is launching its newest brand, Select by Hilton, which will encompass all existing YOTEL properties and promises to triple their locations in the coming years. YOTEL will maintain its distinct brand identity under Hilton, featuring smart design and innovative technology.
What makes YOTEL different
A standout feature is the SmartBed™, which transforms a full queen-size bed into an upright sofa with a simple button press. Additionally, some properties offer automated luggage storage, providing convenience for guests checking in early or checking out late.
YOTEL is renowned for its dedication to sustainability, striving to reduce its carbon footprint and energy consumption globally. This commitment is evident in purpose-built hotels with smaller footprints that minimize resource use and waste, and the use of durable materials that require minimal maintenance. The brand also eliminates single-use plastics, toiletry bottles, printed menus, and other wasteful items.
Hilton Honors members will experience three distinct hotel offerings: YOTEL for urban settings, YOTELAIR for airport locations, and YOTELPAD for unique concepts with kitchenettes, catering to families and multi-generational travelers. While YOTEL bookings through Hilton Honors will not be available until later in 2026, award redemptions will commence later this year, providing members with exciting new options.

Where to find YOTEL properties
Current locations include Amsterdam, Boston, Edinburgh, Geneva, Glasgow, Istanbul, London, Manchester, Miami, New York, Paris, Park City, Porto, San Francisco, Singapore, Tokyo and Washington DC. Future announced properties that are currently being developed include Athens, Bangkok, Belfast, Kuala Lumpur, Lisbon and Neom in Saudi Arabia.
Once Hilton releases all of these properties for booking as part of the Hilton Honors program, you'll be able to earn bonuses when using one of the many Hilton American Express credit cards.
