To rove means to travel widely and often — and Rove is living up to its name by continuing to expand where your miles can take you.

As of April 7, 2026, Rove transfer partners now include Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red at a 1:1 ratio. That means more ways to book flights, tap into partner airlines, and even redeem for experiences beyond travel.

Rove Adds Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Red as Transfer Partners

With this latest update, Rove members can now transfer their miles to both Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red. These programs offer different types of value, but they can also work together.

Virgin Atlantic Flying Club is best known for sweet spots on its own flights (think U.S. to the U.K. from 6k points in economy and 29k in Upper Class!) and partner award flights, particularly in premium cabins. Through Flying Club, members can book awards on its SkyTeam partners like Delta Air Lines, as well as others like ANA — opening up a wide range of redemption options. One of the most notable is booking ANA premium cabin awards between the U.S. and Japan.

Pricing is region-based, with one-way business-class awards costing 52,500 miles from the West Coast and 60,000 miles from the Central or Eastern U.S. First-class awards range from 72,500 to 85,000 miles. Even after recent devaluations, these rates can still give you strong value compared to other programs, especially for premium cabin travel.

Short-haul Delta flights are another reliable use of Virgin points, often pricing lower than booking through Delta SkyMiles itself. For flights under 500 miles, awards can start at 7,500 points one way — and AwardWallet has found more than 450 routes at that price level.

Meanwhile, Virgin Red focuses on non-flight redemptions, including cruises, entertainment, and other experiences.

One useful feature is the ability to shuffle points between Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red. This gives you the flexibility to shift rewards depending on how you want to redeem, no matter which one you transfer miles to at the outset.

As with any transfer partner, make sure to confirm award availability before moving your miles, since transfers can’t be reversed.

Rove’s addition of Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red adds both high-value flight redemptions and more flexible, experience-based options. As the platform continues to expand its partner network, members have more ways to earn and use miles. And there's traditional travel credit card needed.
