Wells Fargo is expanding how its customers can put rewards to work. On April 15, 2026, the issuer announced a new partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, bringing the popular Wyndham Rewards program into its points transfer network.
Wyndham is a great addition to Wells Fargo’s transfer lineup. The program spans more than 8,300 properties across 25 brands in over 95 countries. Its global footprint ranges from budget-friendly roadside hotels to more upscale, resort-style destinations, offering options for a wide range of travel styles and budgets.
What's more, the transfer ratio is pretty special. Here's what to know.
Wells Fargo Adds Wyndham as a Transfer Partner
Cardholders with a Wells Fargo credit card that earns rewards points can now link their Wyndham Rewards account and transfer points at a 1:2 ratio. This effectively doubles their rewards when redeemed for hotel stays!
In simple terms, you’ll receive 2 Wyndham points for every 1 Wells Fargo point you transfer. That’s a big deal, especially since most other programs that partner with Wyndham only offer a standard 1:1 transfer ratio. Better yet, you can transfer points in increments of one — and starting at a single point.

To transfer points, log into Wells Fargo Rewards and select Wyndham Rewards as your transfer partner. You’ll need a free Wyndham Rewards account to link the two.
The Best Benefit of This Partnership Is the Transfer Ratio
One of Wyndham Rewards’ standout features is its simplicity. Free nights are priced at one of three tiers: 7,500, 15,000, or 30,000 points per night.
With a 1:2 transfer ratio from Wells Fargo, here’s what you’d need to transfer to book each award:
- 7,500-point night: Transfer 3,750 Wells Fargo points
- 15,000-point night: Transfer 7,500 Wells Fargo points
- 30,000-point night: Transfer 15,000 Wells Fargo points
For those looking to stretch their balance further, Points + Cash awards start at just 750 points, making it easier to book something sooner rather than later. And since transfers can be made in increments as small as a single point, you don’t need a large Wells Fargo Rewards balance to take advantage of this option.

Bottom Line
In the release announcing the new partnership, Wells Fargo executives said the move is rooted in customer demand for flexibility. And it's hard not to agree with that. Cardholders now have an easy way to turn routine spending into free nights.
And the benefits extend beyond hotel stays. Wyndham Rewards members can also use their points for a range of experiences, including live events, curated travel activities, and gift cards from major retailers. This added versatility gives users more control over how they choose to redeem.
Ultimately, with no minimum transfer requirement, no waiting period to redeem, and a 1:2 transfer ratio, this is a great option for Wells Fargo cardholders looking to use points for hotel stays.
