Wyndham isn't the flashiest hotel chain, especially in the United States. While the brand is often associated with budget hotels, Wyndham also offers some surprisingly solid resorts, international properties, and family-friendly stays in otherwise expensive travel markets.
AwardWallet readers likely already know that Wyndham Rewards offers valuable redemption opportunities thanks to its fixed award chart. However, there are times when paying cash for your stay makes more sense. Fortunately, Wyndham offers a helpful tool that can quickly identify the cheapest dates for the hotel or resort you want to book.
Here's how to find and use Wyndham's price calendar tool and how it can help you save money on your next trip.
How Do You Find the Wyndham Price Calendar?
The best part about the Wyndham price calendar tool is how easy it is to find. After searching for a hotel as you normally would using your preferred dates (or really any dates), you’ll see a drop-down menu labeled “Price Calendar” in the bottom-right corner of each hotel listing.

Once you click the drop-down menu, Wyndham displays two months at a time with nightly rates for each day. In the example below, I searched for a stay at Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek during the holiday season.

Who Can Benefit From the Wyndham Price Calendar?
Hotel rates can fluctuate dramatically around holidays, weekends, and local events. Even shifting your stay by a single night can sometimes save hundreds of dollars. Tools like this are especially useful for travelers with flexible schedules or families trying to stretch their vacation budget a bit further.
For example, the calendar above shows a three-night stay from December 25–28 for $921. However, shifting those dates slightly earlier to December 21–24 drops the cost to $651. That's a savings of $270 simply by adjusting the timing of the trip.

I also like using the calendar tool when planning trips that are not tied to specific dates. Instead of choosing travel dates first and then searching for hotels, you can reverse the process and identify the cheapest travel windows before locking in your plans. If your schedule is flexible, you can scroll through multiple months to find the least expensive times of year to visit a destination.
Another helpful feature is that you do not have to search each hotel individually. Because the price calendar is available directly from the search results page, you can compare rates across multiple hotels in the same area over a two-month period without running separate searches for each property.
What About Award Stays and Other Special Rates?
Wyndham Rewards uses a fixed award chart rather than variable pricing. Award stays cost 7,500, 15,000, or 30,000 points per night, depending on the property. As a result, the calendar tool cannot be used to search for award rates.
However, you can use the calendar to search for special discounted rates, such as AARP or AAA rates. This makes it easy to see which dates offer the lowest discounted pricing without having to run multiple searches.

Final Thoughts
I find Wyndham's price calendar tool to be one of the easiest hotel search tools to locate and use. Because everything is accessible directly from the search results page, it's simple to compare rates across multiple properties without constantly starting over.
If your travel dates are flexible, spending a few minutes with the calendar tool could save you a meaningful amount of money and make it much easier to narrow down the best booking options.
But if the cash rates are out of your budget, don't forget to check award availability as well. Wyndham's simple award pricing structure makes it easy to find good value, and many points and miles currencies transfer to Wyndham Rewards at a 1:1 ratio — including Chase Ultimate Rewards, Capital One miles, and Bilt Rewards Points.
