Over the past couple of years, Rove has steadily expanded its list of transfer partners, and it just added its first U.S. airline partner: Frontier Airlines. The ultra-low-cost carrier is now Rove's 19th transfer partner, and effective immediately, you can transfer Rove miles to Frontier at a 1:1 ratio.

It can be easy to overlook Frontier as a transfer partner, but the airline offers award flights starting at just 5,000 miles. So, if you're looking to stretch your points and save on flights, this is a partner worth keeping on your radar.

Rove Launches Transfers to Frontier Airlines

If you log in to your Rove account now and head to the transfer partners page, you'll see the newest addition: Frontier Airlines. As of July 1, 2026, you can transfer Rove miles to Frontier at a 1:1 ratio, starting with as few as 2,000 miles, and increments of 100 thereafter.

To celebrate the launch, Rove is also offering a 25% transfer bonus through July 31, 2026. You can read more about that in our post detailing the current Rove transfer bonuses.

Even if you don't fly ultra low cost carriers often, this is still a transfer partner worth knowing about. Frontier flies to more than 100 destinations across the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America, and award flights start at just 5,000 Frontier miles plus taxes and fees.

At that rate, it's possible to score a cheap flight without paying much of anything out of pocket. Plus, in some cases, Frontier award pricing can beat what legacy U.S. airlines charge by a wide margin.

It's also worth noting that Frontier offers more than one way to redeem miles. For example, you can use miles to purchase a bundle that includes perks like checked bags, seat selection, priority boarding, and more instead of a standard basic fare.

Depending on the cash price of your flight, these bundle redemptions can fetch more than 2 cents per Frontier mile in value. That's all the more reason to compare both the cash and award prices before booking.

Bottom Line

Rove continues to expand its list of transfer partners, and the addition of Frontier Airlines is a pretty big one. It opens the door to cheap travel using miles while also signaling that Rove is looking to break into the mainstream by adding U.S. airline partners. Time will tell if it can land another, but for now, Frontier should be a valuable addition for savvy Rove members.
