Capital One has launched ‘Capital One Offers' in beta to select cardmembers. While details are still slim, it appears to be a similar format to that of Chase Offers and Amex Offers.

What We Know

Reports indicate that only a limited number of Capital One cardmembers have found these in their account—at least during this initial beta stage. My guess is that Capital One is targeting a specific group of their customers to test the program for functionality.

Based on the screenshots shared, those who are eligible are receiving almost identical offers. Each offer lists a vendor and a cashback percentage that applies to it. At the bottom of each offer is the phrase “Get Savings”, which you probably need to select to activate the offer.

Initial offers are for 15% cash back with eBags and 10% cash back with a variety of merchants:

  • Department stores: Bloomingdales, JCPenney
  • Outdoor recreation: Columbia, Moosejaw, GoPro
  • Apparel companies: Vineyard Vines, Lands' End, Outdoor Voices, prAna

Welcome Offer 75,000 Miles once you spend $4,000 on purchases within 3 months from account opening.
Following the revamp of Capital One's rewards program and the addition of airline transfer partners, the Capital One Venture has catapulted into our list of top travel rewards cards. The ability to earn at least 2X miles on every purchase provides a decent return on spending. Plus the card offers some great perks.

  • 5X miles on hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel
  • 2X miles on all other purchase

  • No foreign transaction fees
  • $95 annual fee
  • 5X miles per dollar on purchases through Capital One Entertainment (through 12/31/2025)
  • 5X miles per dollar on hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel
  • 2X miles per dollar on all other purchases

Where to Find These Offers

If you've been chosen to participate in this beta program, you will find these offers in your online Capital One account. Erik provided this screenshot of his account accessed via desktop, where he found the “Shop, Save, Earn” tab lead to his offers:

In the Capital One app, reports indicate that if you're eligible for these offers, they'll appear towards the bottom of your screen once you've logged in. However, some cardmembers have reported being able to see these offers on one platform, but not on another. Given that the program is still in its early testing stages, your ‘mileage' may vary significantly.

Bottom Line

Even though it may not affect all Capital One cardmembers just yet, this beta program is still an exciting new endeavor. Chase Offers and Amex Offers are fan favorites. If Capital One Offers end up being similar, it could add a lot of additional value to Capital One's portfolio of credit cards.

At this early stage, only a limited number of offers are available to members of the beta test. With this in mind, we recommend taking a minute to see if these offers appear in your account. If so, be sure to activate any that might be valuable to you. For now, there's no need to check these regularly.

Are you eligible for Capital One Offers? Could you see these adding long-term value to your Capital One account? Let us know in the comments.
