What Is American Airlines Vacations?
American Airlines Vacations allows travelers to book vacation packages with flight and hotel elements, often with a good discount. It's similar to other vacation booking portals, such as from Alaska, Delta, and Southwest,
While any traveler can book a package, AAdvantage members will earn miles on the entire package price, including the hotel stay, but not on taxes and fees. Regular AAdvantage members earn 1 mile and 1 Loyalty Point per dollar spent on the vacation package. All AAdvantage elite status members earn 5x that amount: 5 AAdvantage miles and 5 Loyalty Points per dollar.

Current American Airlines Vacations Promotions
American Airlines Vacations often offers promotions to save on eligible vacation packages, earn bonus miles if you're an AAdvantage member, and more. As usual, the hotel length must match the trip duration to be eligible for these promotions.
Up to $150 vacation packages to the Caribbean and Other Select Destinations
Travelers can save up to $125 on eligible American Airlines Vacations packages to the Caribbean, Mexico, Chicago, and ski destinations. Minimum stay lengths and spending thresholds apply. Use the applicable promo code when booking to receive the discount.
- $75 off ski destination packages with promo code WINTERTRAVEL75. Minimum spend of $2,500 and any length stay. Book by October 31, 2025, and travel by August 31, 2026.
- $100 off Mexico and Caribbean packages with promo code BEACHES100. Minimum spend of $3,500 and minimum stay of 3 nights. Book by November 23, 2025, and travel between March 31 and August 31, 2026.
- $100 off packages from Chicago with promo code ORD100. Minimum spend of $3,000 and minimum stay of 3 nights. Book by October 12, 2025, and travel by June 30, 2026.
- $150 off ski destination packages with promo code WINTERTRAVEL150. Minimum spend of $5,000 and minimum stay of 4 nights. Book by October 31, 2025, and travel by August 31, 2026.
- $150 off Mexico and Caribbean packages with promo code SUNSHINE150. Minimum spend of $3,500 and minimum stay of 3 nights. Book by November 23, 2025, and travel by February 28, 2026.
The following blackout dates apply:

AAdvantage members can book a vacation package to select destinations and earn up to 25,000 bonus miles. Minimum spend thresholds and stay lengths apply to each package.
