Bilt Rent Day Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Transfer Bonus for September 2026
On September 1, Bilt members can take advantage of up to a 100% transfer bonus to Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.
Bilt Points typically transfer to Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club at a 1:1 ratio. On September 1, Bilt members will receive up to a 75% transfer bonus, depending on their elite status — or up to 100% with Platinum status plus an upgrade:
- 25% bonus for Blue members
- 35% bonus for Silver members
- 45% bonus for Gold members
- 75% bonus for Platinum members
Increase your transfer bonus using Bilt Cash
Want to unlock a better transfer ratio? You can use Bilt Cash to temporarily upgrade your status. It costs $200 Bilt Cash to upgrade one tier. Blue can buy up to Silver, Silver can buy up to Gold, and Gold can buy up to Platinum.
If you're a Platinum member, you can use your Bilt Cash to upgrade to a 100% Virgin Red or Virgin Atlantic transfer bonus. That's a 1:2 ratio, meaning you would get 2,000 Virgin Atlantic points for every 1,000 Bilt Points transferred.
Members cannot increase by more than one status tier. The elevated status tier does not apply after September 1, as the transfer bonus is available only on that day. If you try to make a transfer before the 1st, you will receive a warning advising you to wait a few days.
Note: Bilt Cash expires at the end of each calendar year. Up to $100 of Bilt Cash earned rolls over to the next year.
Is it worth transferring Bilt points to Virgin Red or Virgin Atlantic?
Virgin Atlantic is one of Bilt's most valuable transfer partners, and this transfer bonus further improves the value.
For reference, Virgin Atlantic uses an award chart for flights operated by partner airlines. Although it no longer publishes an award chart for its own flights, you can use a third-party tool like Seats.aero or its own reward seat checker to find saver fares. This paves the way for several lucrative sweet spots that are worth considering.
To get an idea of how far this transfer bonus could take you, consider that a flight from New York (JFK) to London (LHR) can go for as little as 29,000 points in Virgin Atlantic Upper Class. Here's how many Bilt points you'd need to transfer to complete the redemption:
- Blue members: 24,000 points after the 25% bonus
- Silver members: 22,000 points after the 35% bonus
- Gold members: 20,000 points after the 45% bonus
- Platinum members: 17,000 points after the 75% bonus
- Platinum buy-up: 15,000 points after the 100% bonus
Redeeming as few as 15,000 Bilt Points for a flight in Virgin Atlantic Upper Class is fantastic. Consider that AwardWallet users have redeemed Bilt Points at an average of 2.11¢ each. Meanwhile, users typically redeem Virgin Atlantic points for 3.47¢ apiece. More often than not, it's already a worthwhile transfer, but an extra transfer bonus helps.
Note that you're limited to transferring 150,000 base Bilt Points in total during Rent Day.

Targeted Statement Credit Redemption Bonus
Select targeted Bilt credit card holders will be able to take advantage of a bonus when redeeming Bilt points for a statement credit. Not all cardholders are eligible, but if you are, here's the bonus you'll receive:
- Bilt Palladium Card (Rates & Fees): 100% more value
- Bilt Obsidian Card (Rates & Fees): 50% more value
- Bilt Blue Card (Rates & Fees): 25% more value
This will be available through Tuesday, September 1 at 11:59 p.m. PT. There is a minimum redemption of 1,000 Bilt points, and your statement credit will be applied to the principal balance. It will not count toward your minimum payment due. Statement credits will typically post within 24 hours, but may take up to seven business days.
Normally, Bilt Points are worth 0.55¢ apiece when redeemed as a statement credit. In other words, 1,000 Bilt points could be redeemed for a $5.50 statement credit. With this promotion, targeted cardholders could get up to 1.1¢ apiece from their Bilt points, which still falls short of what you can get from your points when transferring to partners or redeeming for travel through the Bilt Travel portal.

Bilt Neighborhood Comedy Experiences
Bilt’s Neighborhood Comedy and Dining Experiences have become a Rent Day staple. This month, you can access exclusive comedy experiences at 17 venues across 12 cities:

Two types of comedy experiences are available this month. Comedy Club Experiences are standard comedy shows with two drinks included at most venues, and tickets are $30 to $40 per person or 2,000-2,500 Bilt Points. Bespoke Comedy Experiences are premium shows held at unique venues, complete with two drinks and light bites included. These tickets are $75 per person or 5,000 Bilt Points. Each venue has individual dates for its shows.

Tickets can be booked starting at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 29. Platinum and Gold members get early access at 11:50 a.m. Eastern Time. Booking closes at 11:00 a.m. ET on the day of each show or when sold out. You can purchase up to four tickets per member. All experiences are final sale. You can now use up to $50 in Bilt Cash to apply towards one comedy experience, with the remaining cost to be paid in cash.

Bilt Neighborhood Dining Experiences
On September 1, in addition to great comedy experiences, Bilt offers an extensive list of exclusive dining experiences.
Dining experience venues offer a multi-course tasting menu of three to four courses, or an omakase. Tickets range from $40 to $75, depending on the menu, and are redeemable with 2,500 to 5,000 Bilt Points. Premium cocktails and beverages can be added during checkout for $20 to $46 (1,500 to 3,000 Bilt Points) at most locations (add-ons are unavailable after booking). Members can also use up to $50 in Bilt Cash toward one dining experience, with the remainder paid in cash.

Rent Day Dining takes place on Tuesday, September 1. You can purchase up to four seats per member per booking. Booking opens at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 29. Platinum and Gold members get early access at 11:50 a.m. ET.
Booking closes on Monday, August 31, at 5:00 p.m. ET for all dining experiences. Members can purchase all experiences this month with no limit, but all sales are final.
SoulCycle and Barry's Bootcamp Neighborhood Fitness Experiences
Once again, Bilt members can reserve one of 875 spots for SoulCycle classes at participating locations on Bilt Rent Day. Available bike quantities vary by location. Bilt also has a nationwide partnership with Barry's Bootcamp, offering 580 class slots at participating locations. Note that Hamptons studios are not active in the offseason. Members can also receive exclusive add-ons with both fitness partners.
Booking opens on Saturday, August 29, at 12:00 p.m. ET, available in person or through the Bilt app on a first-come, first-served basis. Platinum and Gold members get early access starting at 11:50 a.m. Booking closes on Monday, August 31, at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Complimentary items from the Bilt Neighborhood Cafe Rent Day Food Truck
Bilt recently moved its headquarters to the Meatpacking District in New York City. On Tuesday, September 1, you can visit 837 Washington Street for complimentary fried rice from Fish Cheeks. Members will receive crab or veggie fried rice, served with cucumber, nam jim seafood, and prik nam pla, paired with Fish Cheeks' Thai Iced Tea.
Although technically available between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., you'll want to go early. Complimentary items are available while supplies last and are only available to Bilt members.
Bilt “Rent Free” Game Show: Win up to a Free Month of Rent
The “Rent Free” game show continues to feature one megastar after another. This month, Hugh Jackman is hosting. He will also play along, and the better he does, the more members win free rent.
On September 1, the top ten scorers will receive a month of rent, up to $2,500, with an additional rent winner added for every correct answer Hugh Jackman gets. The next 100 best scorers will receive 1,000 Bilt Points, and the next 500 players will earn 100 Bilt Points.
Starting Friday, August 28, at noon ET, members can try to guess the top three answers to the posed questions. As usual, each member will get one sweepstakes entry for each correct answer (up to three entries). Submit your answers in the Bilt app by Tuesday, September 1, at 3:00 p.m. ET. Check the Bilt app at 4:00 p.m. to see your results.
There are three ways you can score during the game:
- Correctly pick one of the top three answers.
- Correctly rank that answer on the board for 2X Points.

Redeem tickets to the Global Citizen Festival
Hugh Jackman is a Global Citizen Ambassador. In September, Bilt members will get access to redeem general admission tickets to the 2026 Global Citizen Festival on Central Park's Great Lawn, which happens to be hosted by Hugh Jackman. This year, Global Citizen is raising money to get 2 million children into school, support 1.5 million smallholder farmers, and bring electricity to 2.5 million homes.
The lineup will include Ms. Lauryn Hill & Wyclef Jean, Lenny Kravitz, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. The festival is on Saturday, September 26, at 4:00 p.m. ET. Gates open at 2:00 p.m.
Capacity is limited to 100 Bilt members, so you'll want to act quickly if you're interested. Booking opens on Saturday, August 29 at 12:00 p.m. ET. Platinum and Gold members get early access at 11:50 a.m. ET. Tickets cost 5,000 Bilt points, and you can't use cash or Bilt Cash to book.
