Marriott and Uber have teamed up again to offer bonus Marriott Bonvoy® points when linking your accounts. With this offer, you can earn 1,000 points after completing one “premium” Uber ride. And you'll automatically be entered in a million point sweepstakes.
This offer is only valid for travelers who haven't previously linked their Marriott Bonvoy® and Uber accounts and is valid through November 24, 2025. Here are the full details.
Earn up to 1,000 Bonus Marriott Bonvoy Points With One Uber Ride
Uber and Marriott launched their linking program in 2021 and have since offered members different ways to earn bonus Marriott Bonvoy points. If you haven't linked your accounts yet, here's how you can currently earn an easy 1,000 bonus Marriott points.
This new promotion offers Marriott Bonvoy members the chance to earn 1,000 points when linking their accounts and completing one “premium” ride with Uber. What's a “premium” ride? It's this, per the terms:
“A ride taken with Uber Black, Uber XL, Uber SUV, and Uber Comfort and must occur in the United States.”
There is no specified minimum for the cost of your ride to earn bonus points, but it must be completed during the offer period, which ends on November 24, 2025.
And on top of the linking and ride completion bonus, you'll also be entered in a chance to win one million Marriott Bonvoy points. On December 4, 2025, three winners will be selected, and you'll be notified if you're among the lucky few.
Terms and conditions
- This promotion does not require registration.
- Must download and link your Marriott and Uber accounts by 11:59 p.m. on November 24, 2025. You'll earn 1,000 points after you complete one Uber Black, Uber XL, Uber SUV, or Uber Comfort ride by November 24, 2025.
- This bonus is only available to residents of the United States who have not linked their accounts previously.
- Bonus points will post to your Marriott Bonvoy account within four to six weeks of linking your accounts and completing your eligible Uber ride.
Based on recent AwardWallet user redemptions, the 1,000 bonus Marriott points from this promotion (if earned in full) are worth approximately $9.30. If you happen to win the million-point sweepstakes, well, those are worth a lot more.
How to Link Uber and Marriott Accounts
Linking your Marriott Bonvoy and Uber accounts is quite simple. Simply open the Uber app, go to settings, and scroll down to where it says “Marriott Bonvoy” under “Rewards.” Tap on that, tap “Link Account”, and sign in to your Marriott Bonvoy account with your membership number or email. Then, wait for a confirmation that your accounts are linked.
Once your accounts are linked, you will start earning points on qualifying Uber Eats orders and premium rides with Uber.

Earning Marriott Points Through Uber
You can earn Marriott Bonvoy points when using Uber, especially when it comes to Uber Eats orders delivered to specific Marriott brands. Marriott devalued the earning rates in October 2024, and are now as follows:
- 3 points per dollar spent on Uber premium rides in the U.S. (including Uber XL, Uber Black, Uber SUV, Uber Comfort, or Uber Reserve).
- 2 points per dollar spent on UberX Reserve rides.
- 2 points per dollar spent on Uber Eats when delivering to Residence Inn, TownePlace Suites, or Element hotels. Orders are subject to a minimum charge of $40; both restaurant and grocery delivery orders qualify.
- 1 point per dollar spent on all other Uber Eats restaurant and grocery orders of $40 or more (orders not delivered to the above Marriott brands).
Other Ways to Earn Marriott Points
Looking for other ways to top off your Marriott account? The good news is that Marriott is a transfer partner of a slew of bank and airline loyalty programs. The bad news: The modest value of Marriott points (around 0.93¢ per point) mean the transfer rates aren't ideal.

It's nice to see Marriott offering bonus points for activities many travelers use anyway, like reserving a ride with Uber. This promotion is offering 1,000 points after you link your accounts and complete one Uber Black, Uber XL, Uber SUV, or Uber Comfort ride by November 24, 2025. What's more, you'll be entered for a chance to win one million points just by linking your accounts.
Several hotel and airline rewards programs have teamed up with rideshare and food delivery apps. For example, you can choose between several types of points and miles for your Lyft rides. So make sure you're using the right one to maximize your earnings.
