Capital One may have been late to the lounge game, but it’s quickly catching up. The issuer now operates lounges in seven U.S. airports (with another on the way), and each location is a destination in its own right.
Whichever Capital One Lounge you visit, expect locally inspired food, drinks, and decor, along with thoughtful amenities. And for travelers with the right credit card, entry is free.
Here’s what you need to know about Capital One Lounges, including what airports they're in, how to access them, guest policies, and what sets them apart from the competition.

What Are Capital One Airport Lounges?
Capital One Lounges represent the issuer’s vision for the ideal airport lounge experience. In response to offerings like American Express Centurion® Lounges and Chase Sapphire Lounges by The Club, each location features small plates (plus grab-and-go options), hand-crafted beverages, comfortable seating, workspaces with high-speed Wi-Fi, and more.
At the time of writing, there are five full-fledged Capital One Lounges open across the United States, with one more in the works.

Additionally, Capital One introduced its Capital One Landing concept in late 2024. This type of lounge functions more like a high-end restaurant (they’re designed in partnership with the José Andrés Group, after all), where you can reserve a table.
Currently, there are two such lounges open: one at Washington National Airport (DCA) and another at New York LaGuardia (LGA) that opened on February 18, 2026.

In the table below, you’ll find the current list of Capital One Lounges, including the airport they’re located in, operating hours, and the date each first opened to eligible guests.

Venture and Spark Miles cardholders
Venture and Spark Miles cardholders can purchase passes to Capital One Lounge and Capital One Landing locations for themselves and their guests at a discounted rate of $45 per person, per visit for guests 18 and older. This drops to $25 per person, per visit for guests 17 and under.
Non-Capital One cardholders
What’s unique about Capital One Lounges is that other travelers, including those without a Capital One card, can purchase entry at a standard rate of $90 per person, per visit.
While that’s not exactly cheap, getting a taste of a Capital One Lounge or Capital One Landing might convince you that holding a card with complimentary access is worth it.
Joining the Capital One Lounge digital waitlist
To help limit overcrowding, Capital One offers a digital waitlist. This feature, available in the Capital One mobile app, shows real-time lounge capacity. If the lounge is full, you can join the waitlist and receive a text when it’s your turn to enter.

Once your confirmation text arrives, you’ll have 15 minutes to check in at the lounge. If you don’t check in within that window, you’ll lose your spot in line.
If you’re arriving on a connecting flight, the best time to check capacity and join the waitlist is once the aircraft door opens. Usually, your text will arrive by the time you reach the lounge entrance. Just note that access is limited to three hours before your departing flight, so you shouldn’t join the waitlist or arrive at the lounge earlier than allowed.
Capital One Airport Lounge Locations
Capital One Lounges are located in six airports across the United States. Five of the open lounges are standard Capital One Lounges, while the sixth is a Capital One Landing location. At the time of writing, lounges are open in the following airports:
- Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) — Capital One Lounge
- Denver International Airport (DEN) — Capital One Lounge
- Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas (LAS) — Capital One Lounge
- John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York (JFK) — Capital One Lounge
- New York LaGuardia (LGA) — Capital One Landing
- Washington National (DCA) — Capital One Landing
- Washington Dulles (IAD) — Capital One Lounge

Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Capital One Lounge
The Capital One Lounge in Dallas-Fort Worth was the card issuer's first — and remains one of the biggest and most amenity-packed spaces. Here, you'll find everything from a cycling and yoga studio to shower suites, an expansive bar, relaxation rooms, and more.
This lounge is located in DFW's Terminal D, near gate D22 — right next to the American Airlines Flagship Lounge.

Denver (DEN) Capital One Lounge
Capital One's Denver outpost opened on November 3, 2023, and has since been a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of an increasingly busy airport. At this location, you'll find typical amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, shower suites, a parent's room, and more. Plus, you can sample the Denver-inspired rendition of Capital One's Perfect Airport Beer.
The Denver lounge is in DEN's Concourse A on the Mezzanine Level. It's past Gate A34 and up the nearby escalator.

New York City (JFK) Capital One Lounge
Capital One’s newest full-fledged lounge opened at New York (JFK) on June 19, 2025, and it’s the issuer’s largest yet. This flagship space spans around 13,500 square feet and brings a distinctly New York feel to Terminal 4. From the chandelier at its center to the artwork lining its long hallways, the lounge is expansive and thoughtfully curated.
And there's local flair everywhere. There’s a cheesemonger counter in partnership with Murray’s Cheese, a bodega serving made-to-order bagels from Ess-a-Bagel, and a cocktail menu featuring spirits and beers from nearby producers. Capital One’s daily rituals are also part of the experience, including a JFK-exclusive midnight snack service.
You’ll find the lounge in the middle of the retail hall in Terminal 4. If you’re flying out of a different terminal, JFK’s free AirTrain makes it easy to connect; however, be sure to allow time to re-clear security. The lounge stays open 24 hours a day as a nod to the city that never sleeps.

Las Vegas (LAS) Capital One Lounge
The Capital One Lounge in Las Vegas opened its doors to guests on February 21, 2025. Many of the elements in this lounge are noticeably unique to the city it's located in, including the artwork and hand-crafted beverages at the bar. If you visit, it's worth sampling the craft chili pepper vodka — something you won't find at any other Capital One Lounge.
Outside of the local elements, you'll find typical amenities such as an abundance of seating, workspaces, small plates, grab-and-go food, and more. However, you won't find shower suites or nursing rooms here.
This lounge is located in Terminal 1 of the Las Vegas airport in Concourse D. You'll spot it to the left of the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign.

Washington, D.C. (IAD) Capital One Lounge
The Capital One Lounge in Washington Dulles (IAD) has a cozier feel than most other Capital One Lounges, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. This outpost has plenty of food, a lively bar, and plenty of sequestered areas where you can find some peace and quiet.
But like a couple of other lounges, this space doesn't offer showers. Moreover, when this lounge gets busy, it becomes harder to navigate the tight hallways and grab a couple of small plates without bumping into people. That said, this lounge is a massive improvement over the other lounge options in IAD.
You'll find this lounge in IAD's main terminal, located immediately after the PreCheck security checkpoint. But be sure to leave yourself plenty of time to get to and from the lounge; it's not particularly close to any gates.

Washington, D.C. (DCA) Capital One Landing
The Capital One Landing location at Washington National Airport isn't a typical Capital One Lounge — but that doesn't mean it's not a great place to hang out before getting on an airplane. For all intents and purposes, a “Landing Lounge” is synonymous with a restaurant.
Here, you'll find a menu created by Chef José Andrés offering tapas-style plates and hand-crafted beverages. In the main part of the “lounge,” you can order as much as you'd like (for free) and have it delivered right to your table. And we should mention that if you want to grab a table at this lounge, you should consider making a reservation through the Capital One mobile app as far in advance as possible.

Outside of the lounge, you'll find the grab-and-go offerings. This food and beverage is not free, but Capital One Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders get 50% off all food and beverage purchased from the On the Fly counter while everyone else pays sticker price.
New York City (LGA) Capital One Landing
On February 18, 2026, Capital One opened the doors to its flagship Capital One Landing at New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA). This massive space measures around 12,500 square feet, and while it’s a stunning place to spend time before your flight, it’s also a great spot to grab a bite.
Like the Landing at DCA, this outpost features a menu crafted in partnership with Chef José Andrés and the José Andrés Group. After checking in and being led to a table, you’ll be able to order tapas-style dishes directly from your table via QR code, browse Spanish-inspired small plates displayed in glass cases at the lounge’s two bars, or grab a hand-crafted drink from a bartender.
Unlike the Landing at DCA, this location doesn’t offer a paid grab-and-go section outside the lounge. Instead, Capital One used the additional space to build a 2,500-square-foot kitchen and outfit the Landing with seating for upwards of 200 guests.
It’s a major upgrade for an airport that’s quickly becoming a hotspot for premium airport lounges. And we’re here for it!

Future Capital One Airport Lounge Locations
One additional Capital One Lounge is in the works. Details are slim, but we know that a Capital One Landing is under construction at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).
Charlotte (CLT) Capital One Lounge
In early 2026, Capital One unveiled plans to build a new Capital One Lounge at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). The lounge doesn’t have an estimated opening date yet, but when it does open, you’ll find it on the mezzanine level of the Concourse A expansion.

Final Thoughts
There are few better ways to spend your layover than dining, relaxing, or even freshening up in a Capital One Lounge. While Capital One's airport lounge network isn't the most expansive, it's quickly growing, which is welcome news if you're a Capital One Venture X or Venture X Business cardholder.
Beyond unlimited, complimentary access to Capital One Lounges, the Capital One Venture X and Venture X Business offer a great mix of benefits that make them indispensable to a wide range of travelers. With benefits that easily justify the $395 annual fee, it’s no surprise these cards are fan favorites.
