Of all the travel portals you can book through, Capital One Travel is arguably one of the best. It’s easy to use and continues to add valuable perks. One of the newest is the ability to get a fourth night free on Premier and Lifestyle Collection bookings. Here’s how the benefit works in practice.
Get a Fourth Night Free on Capital One Premier and Lifestyle Collection Bookings
If you like free hotel nights, you now have another reason to book through the Capital One Premier or Lifestyle Collections. These collections feature higher-end hotels and resorts than you’ll find in the general Capital One Travel portal. And now, you can get a fourth night free on bookings at select properties.
Capital One’s website for each collection now advertises this benefit, and you’ll also see it called out multiple times while booking an eligible “Premium Stay” at a hotel or resort, but not at a vacation rental. And it applies whether you book with your eligible Capital One card or Capital One miles.

For example, during a mock four-night stay at the Emeline, the portal confirmed the fourth night free benefit both when selecting dates:

And then again on the following screen:

When I tested an eight-night booking to see if the discount applied twice (once for every four nights), it only applied once. So, if you’re booking eight nights here, you might save more by splitting it into two separate four-night reservations.
But that said, the terms note the benefit “may be repeatable based on duration of stay,” so you could potentially find a property where it applies multiple times.

As with any travel portal though, it’s worth comparing Capital One’s price to the hotel’s direct rate. In this case, booking through Capital One was cheaper. For the August 22–26 stay at the Emeline, Capital One priced it at $1,238, compared to the hotel’s $1,437 — even though the Emeline was coincidentally offering its own fourth night free deal.

Key terms
It appears this benefit is here to stay rather than being a limited-time offer. Still, there are a few details in the fine print to be aware of before you use it:
- Must book at least four consecutive nights to get the fourth night free
- Not valid on existing bookings, and the discount may be removed if you shorten your stay
- Cannot be combined with other offers unless specified
- If the offer doesn’t appear during booking, it’s not available for those dates
- Complimentary night is reflected at booking, and taxes/fees for that night are removed at checkout
- Capital One can change or end the benefit at any time
Bottom Line
Capital One Premier and Lifestyle Collection bookings are generally pricier than non-collection stays, mainly because they feature select higher-end properties and include extra perks like property credits, upgrades, and more. This new fourth-night-free benefit can help bring those prices down — and the savings get even better if you can stack it with your Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card or Capital One Venture X Business annual $300 travel credit.
