Chase recently overhauled its Sapphire cards and debuted the Points Boost feature in the Chase Travel℠ portal. To mark these changes, some Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (Rates & Fees) holders and Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card (Rates & Fees) holders who opened a card within the past year can claim a $50 travel credit.
Here’s what you need to know about the offer.
Get a $50 Credit for Chase Travel Bookings (Targeted)
The Chase Travel portal is undergoing some significant changes. The biggest update is the introduction of Points Boost, which allows cardholders to redeem Ultimate Rewards points for up to 2¢ each through Chase Travel. However, the exact rate you get depends on the card and what kind of travel you book. These changes took effect on June 23, with more updates scheduled for October 26, 2025.
To ease the transition, Sapphire Preferred and Ink Preferred holders who opened their card within the past year should check their email for an offer to claim a $50 travel credit.
This is not a public offer, and there is no landing page for the promotion. Instead, check your email for a message from Chase. Look for a subject line like “Introducing Points Boost on Chase Travel” or “Review Changes and New Features Coming to Your Card.”
If you received the offer, the travel credit is already available on your card. You can use it to book a flight, hotel, car rental, or activity through Chase Travel. But keep in mind that this promotional credit is valid for a one-time use only. If you apply it to a transaction under $50, you’ll forfeit the remaining balance.
The $50 credit is available to use through June 23, 2026.
Not all Sapphire Preferred and Ink Preferred holders will have this offer. It appears to be targeted at new cardholders who opened their account within the past year.

Our Take
To encourage eligible cardholders to use Chase Travel — or at least ease the transition after the launch of Points Boost — Chase is offering a $50 travel credit valid through June 23, 2026. If you’ve been targeted, be sure to use your credit before it expires.
