Citi cardholders have an opportunity to enjoy 20X savings with select merchants on Citi Shop Day. It’s actually two days of savings — August 5 and 6. We can assume that 20X savings means 20% cash back, considering you don’t earn Citi ThankYou® Points in the Citi Shop portal.

Score 20X Savings on Citi Shop Day
Citi Shop is the shopping portal for eligible Citi cardholders with linked accounts to earn cash back on select purchases. Instead of earning Citi ThankYou Points, rewards are issued as statement credits. It’s one of many shopping portals you can use when doing your online shopping.
On August 5 and 6, Citi Shop Day is offering 20X savings on purchases with select merchants. That said, the offer is somewhat ambiguous in certain details. We're assuming that “20X in savings” actually means 20% cash back. You still need to pay the full amount of each purchase, though, and you will receive a statement credit worth 20% of the purchase value within 61 to 180 days.
The promotion also does not specify a maximum amount that earns 20% cash back.

To earn rewards on Citi Shop Day, you must enroll for the promotion before making eligible purchases. Add the Citi Shop extension to your web browser or iOS device, sign in to your Citi account, and add a Citi credit card. Then make eligible purchases by activating offers with the City Shop extension between midnight ET on August 5 and 11:59 p.m. ET on August 6.

Our Take
If you have a Citi credit card, now's the time to act for Citi Shop Day. Enroll for the promotion, add the Citi Shop app to your browser, and enjoy 20X in savings for both days.
