Hilton Honors just relaunched its Hilton Honors™ Diamond status extension offer for elites who failed to re-qualify for Hilton's top tier in 2024. This time around, eligible Diamond members can request their status be extended for one year. Here's how you can request an extension to hold onto your status.
Requesting a Hilton Diamond Status Extension
You can request a status extension from Hilton before your current status expires on March 31, 2025. Simply go to the Diamond status extension landing page and request your extension through March 31, 2026.

After making your request, you'll see a message confirming receipt. Hilton will confirm via email whether your request was approved.

Our Take
Hilton has offered this Diamond status extension since 2017. Leveraging your historic loyalty to a brand to maintain your status is always welcome news. Hopefully, other hotels and airlines will jump on the bandwagon and realize loyalty goes both ways.
As this offer is only available once in a lifetime, you might want to hold off if you don't have a lot of stays planned for 2025. If you're looking for other options, there are numerous hotel status match and fast-track offers available right now, including an option from Hilton itself.
