It's not very often you can mention national parks, glamping, and bonus points in the same sentence. But that's the deal right now, as World of Hyatt is offering a promotion tied to Under Canvas stays.

The offer gives you a 15% rebate when you redeem points for a stay at an Under Canvas property. And taking advantage of it is an easy way to go glamping for less.

Here's a quick primer on the Under Canvas brand and how to register for this neat promotion.

What Is Under Canvas?

Under Canvas has been a part of the Hyatt portfolio since mid-2024. Originally, it was a fixture of the Mr & Mrs Smith portfolio, which also integrated with World of Hyatt last year.

You'll find Under Canvas' safari-style tents at some of the most iconic U.S. national parks, which is pretty cool if you like to get outdoors. Thirteen Under Canvas properties (plus ULUM Moab and
The Fields of Michigan) are bookable through World of Hyatt:

And since Under Canvas “belongs” to Mr & Mrs Smith, you can check off the Mr & Mrs Smith Brand Explorer badge once you complete your stay. For the unfamiliar, the Hyatt Brand Explorer perk can help you unlock up to six Category 1-4 free night awards.

Get 15% Points Back on Under Canvas Redemptions

The newest Hyatt Under Canvas promotion is geared toward travelers with a stash of Hyatt points looking to redeem them for a night or two in nature. Those who register for the offer can earn a 15% rebate on the Hyatt points used for Under Canvas stays booked and completed between August 8 and December 1, 2025. The deadline to register is November 28.

There is no cap on the number of points you can get back with this offer. However, the fine print clarifies that you will receive 15% of the points used towards free night awards back within two to three weeks of checking out.

All 13 Under Canvas locations are participating, along with The Fields of Michigan, which is part of Under Canvas' “Outdoor Collection.”
