Hyatt is offering several great promotions to reward travelers with World of Hyatt points and other benefits.

One new offer gives you 2X points (up to 20,000 bonus points) at properties across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Another new offer awards up to 20,000 points after completing 10 nights at a Hyatt Regency, as long as you book your stay through the Hyatt app — or 3,000 points per night on Hyatt Vacation Club stays.

Here’s a look at all the current Hyatt promotions you can take advantage of — plus how to register so you don’t miss out.

Earn 3k Bonus Points per Night on Hyatt Vacation Club Stays

If you’re considering a stay at a Hyatt Vacation Club property, now’s a great time to register for this new promotion and complete your booking. You’ll earn 3,000 bonus points per eligible night — up to 30,000 bonus points — on stays booked by November 2, 2025, and completed by March 29, 2026. The last day to register is one week before the offer ends.

As with other Hyatt promotions, an “eligible night” is any night booked on an eligible rate or redeemed using a free night award. So you could, in theory, use Hyatt points to book ten nights at a Hyatt Vacation Club property and earn 30,000 points once your stay (or stays) is complete.

2X Points in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (Up to 20k Points)

If you’re heading to Europe, Africa, or the Middle East soon, you can earn 2X points (up to 20,000 bonus points) on qualifying stays completed between September 15 and December 1, 2025. To participate, be sure to register by November 1, 2025.

The list of eligible properties is extremely broad. According to the offer FAQs, all Hyatt hotels and Mr & Mrs Smith properties in these regions are included, as long as they participate in World of Hyatt at the time of your stay. On top of that, the FAQs confirm you can stack this promotion with other ongoing Hyatt offers.

Up to 20k Points on Hyatt Regency In-App Bookings

This promotion offers up to 20,000 bonus Hyatt points on stays at Hyatt Regency properties in the United States booked through the Hyatt mobile app (yes, only the app). To qualify, you’ll need to register and complete all eligible stays by December 31, 2025 (originally November 23).

Like other Hyatt promos, the bonuses kick in once you complete a set number of nights (paid or free night awards count). Here’s how it works:

  • Earn 3,000 bonus points after three nights
  • Earn an additional 7,000 bonus points after seven nights
  • Earn an additional 10,000 bonus points after 10 nights

That means you can earn up to 20,000 bonus points by completing 10 nights. And that’s on top of the points you’d normally earn for your stay, the rewards from the card you use to pay, and any other offers you can stack with this one.

This would be interesting for Vegas if: 1) the Rio wasn’t such a dump that treats Globalists horribly and 2) the Venetian and Palazzo weren’t massively overcharging World of Hyatt members and terrible points value, wiping out any possible benefit from 777 points.

Thank you for sharing this info!

There’s a typo in Latin America offer. Earn 5,000 bonus points (instead of 3,000).

I have 2 questions on that – will it work for point stays? – will it work for existing bookings or do i make a new booking after signing up for the promo?

      JT Genter says:

Thanks for catching that. I’ve fixed it now.

And good question on the points stays. I don’t see anything in the terms restricting points/rewards stays. The T&C mention “Only Eligible Nights” but that’s not defined. And the only restrictions seem to be: “Offer not valid with groups, conventions, other promotional offers, packages or special rate programs.” I’ve reached out to Hyatt to confirm.

Unfortunately previously booked stays are out as the T&C say: “Offer not valid in conjunction with previously booked or held stays”

      JT Genter says:

Sarthak: I was able to confirm with Hyatt directly that award nights / point stays count toward this Latin America / Caribbean promotion!

It’s a shame the expiration policy.

I signed up for the Chase WOH card with a promotion offer of double elite-qualifying nights through the end of 2021. I have yet to see any of the bonus elite nights post for my stays going back six weeks or so. I am concerned some of the bonus elite nights for 2021 stays will not post until 2022. Does anyone know if these bonus elite nights will retroactively count toward 2021 tier requirements even if they are posted in 2022? I am close to Globalist, but I need these bonus nights to count toward my 2021 elite night counts to reach that level. Thanks!

Evan – with the Hyatt promotions earlier this year and the end of last year, double nights in those promotions posted at the end of the promotion period. I’d expect your nights will post in early 2022 but will credit to your 2021 stays. I’ve found that the Hyatt Twitter team (@HyattConcierge) is awesome. If you message them to ask, they should confirm when your nights will post. It’s likely in early January after the end of the promotion.

Hyatt is still one of the better hotel brands despite the point expiration policy.

That’s a big negative that they are resuming points expiration- thumbs down!

This is great stuff. it will be good to know if I can combine this with the recent hyatt promotion buy one and get second night free in Australia.

Shame about the resumption of expiration, but it had to happen sometime I guess.

Could you please clarify.. the transfer 1K points from CHase UR to Hayatt is not going to be considered as a qualifying activity to extend point expiration?

    Harvey Kwan says:

Any news if they will extend the expiration on free night awards?

Okay, another hurtle to jump. But overall, not too bad. Hyatt, I’m still your friend!

Disappointing that they are bringing back expiration – such a customer unfriendly move, but I suppose impacts only very infrequent Hyatt visitors. However could be quite a few people who transferred points in or had bookings cancelled over the pandemic that haven’t been able to reuse those points yet.

I am going to focus on earning Hyatt points soon. I like when they have promos. Hyatt and Marriott seem to have hotels I will be looking to stay at right now. I need to take advantage of their promos to get more points with them. I will be keeping an eye on changes they have.

Great promotion, but it’s a bit of a shame that points will resume expiring. This industry would be better for customers during this time if they could extend the length of time before rewards run out, or lose their value

    angelo fonseca says:

it is a pity that the points will expire again. several other companies in the tourism industry have been far more sympathetic about point expiration.

There is another way to extend miles with Hyatt for those who have the Chase Sapphire Reserve card and can transfer points from there.

Is it also possible to extend expiration date by transferring points from Chase Ultimate Rewards?

Shame that expiration is resuming, but it had to happen sometime I guess.

How do I check when my points will expire?

I still think Hyatt beats Marriott and Hilton mainly because they treat their memners with status the best

Signs of life going back to normal: Hyatt’s peak pricing is launching and points are now expiring. 🙁

I don’t think I’ll be able to take advantage of the Miraval promotion but dining at a Hyatt Restaurant is a decent idea for those whose points might expire otherwise.

May want to also consider registering for this limited time offer with American Airlines for qualifying stays between November 1, 2021, and January 31, 2022,

Enjoy 1,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles for every qualifying stay at over 190 participating U.S. Hyatt hotels, including Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Nashville, New York City, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.

Thanks for the info. Many programs have halted point expiration during the panemic. It seems a bit too soon to resume point expiration with the ongoing pandemic.

    Travelfreek says:

Dear Hyatt! I love you! Don’t change a thing!

    Nicolas Iacouzzi says:

I think the last Bonus Journeys promo was vastly more lucrative. That’s okay, some promos are better than none. This promo is certainly worth leveraging, but really think the last Bonus Journeys promo was vastly more lucrative. That’s okay, some promos are better than none

See very little exciting about these promos, for most people.

    Patrick Alesia says:

I am still awaiting my bonus journey points of 150,000 points for my august 2021 stay at Andaz Hawaii

Pleas3 advise when my hyatt account will be credited with bonus journey points.

FYI – bonus points are posting along with the main stay post, the next day after checkout for me. Not As good as the last promo, since I usually can’t stay 2 nights, but I’ll take it.

Great bonus if you have upcoming stays. Combined with the Hyatt CC could rack up a bunch of points in the coming months.

With Hilton becoming a little less worth elite status, Hyatt is becoming my favorite. I have been considering their card but am still hesitant. Though I am noticing with my families stays Hyatt is a favorite. My kids like Hyatt Place because even with one room there can be a little separation. My husband likes the free breakfast we always get.

Great promo from Hyatt, and yet nothing from Marriott this Summer in terms of a promotion

Does this apply to Hyatt Regency?

I’ll take triple the points, sign me up for this new Hyatt promo!

I like it, but of course it’s hard to find a Hyatt in some places.

thanks for the info. I redeem two award nights and get 2K points then (maybe $30 in value).

This may or may not be helpful for an upcoming trip, but I will sign up in hope it works out. I cannot remember a bad stay at Hyatt.

I am day dreaming of the very suite seen in the top photo of this message!

Already registered. Doubtful, though, that I’ll use this promo by the June deadline, as I’m still not keen on doing inessential travel or on staying at hotels where lounges and breakfast are not back to precovid19 quality..

“That’s not a bad haul, especially if those stays were booked with points or free night awards.” Nights must be pd in cash, cash + points, or a free night award

      JT Genter says:

Good catch. I reworded that sentence to reflect that nights booked with points aren’t eligible for this promotoin.

Sitting in the lobby of a Hyatt Place as we speak. Night 2 of 4. 5,000 free points for me!

This promo is certainly worth leveraging, but really think the last Bonus Journeys promo was vastly more lucrative. That’s okay, some promos are better than none.

staying at a hyatt for 2 nights for the last 2 days of februrary. Annoyingly I don’t qualify for the promo

Hopefully you’re registered for the current Bonus Journeys promotion! If so, you’ll earn 3X (4X if cardholder) points on cash stays or 15% rebate (25% rebate if cardholder) on award stays.

2500 is not such a bad deal if you already plan on booking a stay

I’ve always enjoyed my stays at Hyatt hotels. Always worth checking if there’s one in the area when travelling.

These promotions indicate that traveling world is returning to normally
This awards incentivize people to fly again !

Still doesn’t make me tempted to stay in a hotel with subpar service and most of the amenities closed

Thank you for the heads up. I am now registered. I am hoping to do 10 Hyatt nights between March 1 and June 15.

Is Feb 21 date above correct??

Just registered, maybe my company will allow us to travel by then.

You might want to correct your opener.
    Promo starts 3/1
    Registration starts 2/23

Nice idea but January is just around the corner.

These are just some things that they have taken away from us during the past years. Parking fees, resort fees, and so many myriads of fees in order to keep the room rates down smacks of false advertising to me. If all these fees are mandatory, they should be included in the room fee.

I prefer to get free parking at Hyatt hotel as you know some place parking is very very expensive. Also I like get 2X elite night to stay at Hyatt hotels. Hope i can be keep my level this difficult year.

If double quantify night offer can be composition with Credit card offer was perfect but even if I’d prefer to get double quantify night to upgrade my membership asap. This year is very hard for hotels group. Hope Hyatt will be keep benefit for advance member.

This promotion is perfect and i will be stay at Hyatt next holiday. Also can be have a challenge to get higher membership to stay 20 nights. get more money back with 3X points.Awesome.

My next possible Hyatt stay for work is in the two week “dead zone” between the end of the current promotion and the beginning of the new one. So I’m staying at a Hilton instead! I will switch back to Hyatt when the promotion is live but seriously, what is the point of that two week time period between the first and second promotion?

It would be even better if Hyatt can lower the number of nights required to qualify for status too.

Hats off to Hyatt. They are the best!

    Maria Cuevas says:

I love Hyatt and glad to see that they have a promotion for those who are going to brave it out at the new Alila property in Big Sur. Thanks for the 5 AA miles.

Second stay is a bit of a high bar right now.
Any stay bonus “starting with the second night” would have been more likely to meet.

    Elaine She says:

As we had to cancel our spring break trip, we are now looking for a late summer getaway, this might just be the right offer for us to get a trip and reel in some savings!

    Thanks!

These promotions again try to get users to start traveling again. I think that all hotel chains should make similar to Hyatt promotions to re-incentivize people. good for Hyatt.

3X points should be offered from the first stay. That would be fantastic.

Great offer for sure, and certainly enough to sway my booking decisions once we’re able to go somewhere.

    I got 15% off and max $38

    Fabrizio Polverelli says:

After just having cancelled a trip for later this year, not sure if I’m ready to book again. But this is a great deal!

I share your feelings; I do not want to go through the trouble of cancelling everything again.

Definitely understand the sentiment, @Karl. But, at the same time, there are quality offers out there with flexible cancellation policies now in place. We have the opportunity to be rewarded down the road for persevering and trusting now.

If a purchase two rooms for two people, will i receive the promo twice? Thanks!!

      JT Genter says:

That’s a good question. Unfortunately not. The FAQ read: “If I pay for more than one room during the same stay, will I receive Bonus Points on qualifying nights for all rooms? A member will only earn Bonus Points for the room he/she occupies during the Promotion Period.”

Thanks! I registered for the promo but I didn’t have the Chase offer for 10% back. Great deal for those that received it!

It’s always great to see a Chase Offer for Hyatt!
