Etihad Guest has launched a new promotion that might pique the interest of U.S. travelers. You can earn double Etihad Guest miles on eligible JetBlue flights through November 30, 2026.

Earn 2X Etihad Guest Miles on JetBlue Flights
Through November 30, 2026, you can earn double Etihad Guest miles on all JetBlue flights. This promotion is valid on all JetBlue-operated flights across its entire network in all cabins. However, it excludes special rates, staff tickets, award bookings, and promotional fares.
To earn double miles, you'll need to add your Etihad Guest number to your booking before you travel. Note that you will earn double miles, but you won't earn bonus points toward Etihad elite status. Miles are typically credited 30 days after the campaign end date.
According to Etihad's JetBlue partner page, your earnings are based on distance flown. During this promotion, these values are doubled. Here's what that looks like:
JetBlue-operated flights typically earn anywhere from 25% to 130% of the distance flown, depending on your fare class. During this promotion, you can earn anywhere from 50% to 260% of the distance flown.
JetBlue operates a fairly extensive network. Its longest flight is between Boston (BOS) and Milan (MXP), at roughly 3,800 miles. If you book a full-fare Mint ticket, you'd earn about 9,880 Etihad Guest miles each way. That's not a bad deal.
That said, consider the utility of Etihad Guest miles before crediting your JetBlue flight to Etihad. Etihad Guest miles expire after 18 months of inactivity, and Etihad has an extremely convoluted award cancellation policy. For many travelers, Etihad Guest miles aren't worth the trouble.
Meanwhile, JetBlue TrueBlue points can be quite valuable. You can’t earn miles in both programs for the same flight, so don't jump on this promotion just because it's available.
