Not to be confused with Spontaneous Escapes, Singapore Airlines launched its semi-annual KrisFlyer Global Redemption Sale. In simpler terms, Singapore Airlines is discounting economy and premium economy awards by 15% on dozens of routes. But this sale won't last long; the last day you can book Singapore awards with a meaningful discount is September 20, 2026.
Here are the details on Singapore's Global Redemption Sale.
Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Award Sale: Save 15% on Select Routes
Singapore Airlines is putting most of its route network on sale and shaving 15% off saver awards. This discount is an easy way to fly a great airline for fewer miles. What makes this sale extra special is that Singapore-owned low-cost carrier Scoot is also participating in the sale.
Before we get to the deals, let's go over the terms. You must book your saver award by September 20, 2026, for travel between November 1, 2026, and May 31, 2027. However, each route offers its own blackout dates. You can view the full list of discounted itineraries and blackout dates here. You can see Scoot's routes and blackout dates here.
You don't need a special promo code to take advantage of these savings. Just head to Singapore Airlines' website, log in, and book an award ticket as you normally would. If an award is discounted, you'll see a “Promo” column in the fare menu. Keep in mind that Singapore Airlines now requires you to have at least 1,000 KrisFlyer miles in your account to perform an award search.
The taxes and fees aren't discounted, but most flights already have a low out-of-pocket cost.

KrisFlyer Global Redemption Sale eligible routes
Like Singapore Airlines' monthly drop of Spontaneous Escapes, the list of discounted itineraries is rather large. However, it's a little smaller if you're looking to travel to or from the United States. There are five routes on sale for economy bookings:
- Frankfurt (FRA) to/from New York (JFK) — 23,375 KrisFlyer miles per way.
- Tokyo (NRT) to/from Los Angeles (LAX) — 36,125 KrisFlyer miles per way.
- Singapore (SIN) to/from Los Angeles (LAX) — 37,400 KrisFlyer miles per way.
- Singapore (SIN) to/from San Francisco (SFO) — 37,400 KrisFlyer miles per way.
- Singapore (SIN) to/from Seattle (SEA) — 37,400 KrisFlyer miles per way.
You can find eligible flight numbers and individual blackout dates on the promotion page.
If you're planning to book a round-trip ticket, each direction has its own blackout dates. For instance, if you are traveling from Los Angeles to Singapore, blackout dates apply from May 13 to May 31, 2027. Meanwhile, if you are traveling from Singapore to Los Angeles, blackout dates apply from November 26 to November 30, 2026.
There are also routes on sale for premium economy bookings:
- Singapore (SIN) to/from San Francisco (SFO) — 67,150 KrisFlyer miles per way.
- Singapore (SIN) to New York (JFK) — 71,825 KrisFlyer miles per way.
- New York (EWR) to Singapore (SIN) — 71,825 KrisFlyer miles per way.
If you're starting from another continent, you can find several options in economy. Options abound for flights throughout Asia, Africa, Europe, the Pacific, and more. Unfortunately, though, the 15% discount doesn't apply to business class, and the only premium economy routes on sale are those between Singapore and the U.S.
As always, award availability tends to improve the further out you search.

Final Thoughts
If you're planning travel for late this year or early next year, Singapore Airlines has marked down several award itineraries by 15%. It's a generous discount, but there are some route limitations — especially if you plan to fly to or from the United States. But if you find something you like, act fast. The last day you can make a reservation is September 20, 2026.
