Remember, you can receive the welcome offer on each Amex card “once per lifetime.” However, that limitation is only for the same card. What makes these offers special?
The Platinum Delta Amex and Delta Business Platinum Amex have traditionally been the sweet spot of the Delta credit card family, featuring a moderate spending requirement for a big welcome offer.
The current offers aren't the best we've seen on these cards, but they come close to some of the best offers we've seen in the past. However, new cardmembers can earn the full welcome bonus after meeting a modest, single-tiered spending requirement. That makes these cards an attractive option.

Why get a Delta Platinum credit card?
These Delta Platinum credit cards are an ideal choice for regular Delta flyers. In exchange for a higher annual fee than the entry-level Delta Gold products (Rates & Fees), cardholders get one Delta companion certificate each year — good for adding a second traveler to round-trip ticket in economy class.

The Delta Gold cards are the best Delta cards for most travelers. The cards come with a modest $0 introductory annual fee for the first year, then $150 (Rates & Fees). Ongoing benefits include a free checked bag for up to nine passengers (including the cardholder), Zone 5 priority boarding, and a 20% discount on Delta in-flight purchases.
Even if you only fly a few times per year, the checked bag benefit can deliver more value than the cost of holding one of these cards.

Delta Reserve Credit Cards
What makes these offers special?
The current welcome offers on the Delta Reserve cards give new applicants the chance to earn up to 110,000 bonus SkyMiles.

How Much Are Delta SkyMiles Worth?
In recent AwardWallet user redemptions, Delta SkyMiles have provided an average of 1.34¢ in value. However, the value depends on what type of awards you're booking.
Economy awards have a pretty fixed value around 1.21¢ per mile. Meanwhile, business- and first-class awards range from 1.94¢ per mile for domestic and short-haul international awards to 2.4¢ per mile for long-haul business class awards.
Even using a base value of 1.21¢ per mile, these Delta card welcome offers provide between $968 and $1,331 worth of value — depending on the card.
