Flying Blue miles are incredibly valuable. From some of the cheapest business class tickets between the U.S. and Europe to partner award flights across the world, you can fund all types of air travel with this mileage currency. Part of what makes Flying Blue miles so valuable is that you can transfer points into the program from over a dozen travel partners. That makes it easy to amass the miles needed to make a redemption.
In this post, we'll cover all the credit card and hotel points that transfer to Flying Blue and introduce some additional ways to top off your account.

Hotel Points That Transfer to Flying Blue
It may come as a surprise that Flying Blue also has several hotel transfer partners. In short, if you can't find a good way to redeem your hotel points for stays, you can convert them to Flying Blue miles for flights!
Generally, these transfers don't provide great value for your hotel points. You'll likely lose value on the conversion, so we recommend avoiding these transfers if possible. This is because the average value of the hotel points necessary is almost always greater than the value of the Flying Blue mile you'll receive — as these transfers are never 1:1.
However, there is one exception, which we'll name below the Flying Blue hotel transfer partners chart.
Marriott Bonvoy points
Marriott has over 40 airline transfer partners, which is a big deal if you want to stock up on Flying Blue miles instead of redeeming for free nights. You can transfer Marriott points to Flying Blue at a 3:1 ratio. Plus, collect a 5,000-mile bonus for every 60,000 points you convert.
We'll be clear: There are better ways to redeem Marriott Bonvoy points. However, this is the most lucrative of all the other Flying Blue hotel transfer partner options. Plus, earning Marriott points is easy, which can help you top off your Flying Blue account to make a redemption sooner.

Other Currencies That Transfer to Flying Blue
But wait, there are even more currencies that transfer to Flying Blue.
Rove
One transferable rewards currency that doesn’t fit neatly into the airline or hotel box is Rove. With Rove, you can earn miles that transfer to several different programs at 1:1 ratios, including Flying Blue.
Wondering how to earn Rove Miles? The best way is by booking flights or hotels through Rove or shopping online via its links. Rove also offers bonus miles just for signing up.

Klarna
Did you know that Klarna — yep, the buy now, pay later company — has transfer partners? It does, and Flying Blue is one of them. To access transfers, you’re not required to open a BNPL plan, but you do need to engage with Klarna at the membership level.
More Ways to Earn Flying Blue Miles
You can earn miles in several ways besides transferring credit card, hotel points, and other rewards to Flying Blue. Here's an overview of some of the top ways to earn Flying Blue miles that can help you round out your miles-earning strategy to make that next great redemption:
- Apply for the Air France KLM Visa Signature® Credit Card and earn 50,000 bonus miles and 100 XP bonus miles after you make $2,000 or more in purchases within the first 90 days of your account opening

Our Take
We like miles that are easy to earn because you can earn more of them quickly. That means you can make redemptions sooner and more often. Flying Blue miles check all these boxes.
But before you start transferring your credit card (and, possibly, your hotel points) to Flying Blue, be sure to familiarize yourself with the best ways to redeem Flying Blue miles. While these miles can take you pretty far, they can't take you everywhere and can't be used on every carrier.
However, if you aspire to visit Europe, fly Delta domestically, or even see the South Pacific, you can't go wrong by earning Flying Blue miles.
