From March 25-31, Amazon is running its “Big Spring Sale“. That makes now a great time to pick up some travel supplies, whether you're planning on traveling this summer or gearing up for a trip later in the year.
My wife and I have been digital nomads for more than eight years. Over that time, we've gotten very picky about what travel items and supplies we haul around the world. Here are 10 of our favorite travel items that are on sale during Amazon's Big Spring Sale.

Anker Power Bank
Whether you're hoping to work on the road or just keep your cell phone charged, having access to power is essential. That's why we carry power banks in our carry-on bags to ensure our phones and laptops always have power — even on long-haul Turkish Airlines flights without power outlets.
The 25,000 mAh fast-charging 165W Anker power bank I use is currently on sale for just $95.99 — that's 29% off the standard price. Buy it here.

Or, if you're looking for something even cheaper and lighter, this 10,000 mAh battery pack is still powerful enough to fully charge an iPad and costs just $21.99. Buy it here.

BESTEK Travel Power Converter Box
Nowadays, most electronics don't require power conversion. However, not all hotels have ample power outlets. That's why we carry a BESTEK universal travel converter with us for our travels — both domestically and abroad. This small box converts one two-prong power outlet into three three-prong U.S. outlets plus four USB-A outlets. For any electronics that can't handle different voltages, it converts the power to the 110 volts we use in the U.S.
This converter box is currently discounted by 24% to $29.44 — the lowest price in 90 days! Buy it here.

Fitbit Activity Tracker
From sleep tracking and step counting to silent alarms and, yes, even telling time, Katie and I rely on our Fitbit activity trackers throughout our travels. We currently have older Versa models that are no longer for sale. But, several Fitbit activity trackers are on sale. Make sure to compare the features to see which version makes the most sense for you:

Osprey Farpoint Travel Backpack
Since going nomadic in June 2017, my wife and I have hauled our clothing, gear, and supplies around more than 80 countries in Osprey Farpoint backpacks.
When we've periodically used rolling suitcases — such as when I had surgery on my back — we learned just how much we prefer having a travel backpack to a rolling suitcase. Not only does a travel backpack free up a hand, but you also don't have to worry about rolling your suitcase across cobblestone, brick, or muddy ground.

Three versions of Osprey Farpoint backpacks are on sale now:
- 40-liter (carry-on size): $105 (43% off)
- 70-liter: $138 (40% off)
- 80-liter: $141 (40% off)
Luggage Trackers
Luggage trackers have become a nearly essential travel tool — even if you are Team Carry-on. And I learned just how critical these can be when I accidentally left my passport wallet on a flight to Madrid back in 2023. Thankfully, I had a Tile Slim tracker tucked in the passport wallet, enabling me to track its progress until I was reunited with it.
Unfortunately, Tile doesn't seem to be participating in this Amazon Big Spring Sale. A four-pack of Tile trackers currently costs $72.22. Buy here.
However, a four-pack of the 1st generation Apple AirTags is discounted 39% to just $59.99 (buy here):

Shoe Insoles
During our travels, we walk a lot — averaging well over 10,000 steps a day. In addition to good shoes, I find supporting insoles to be well worth the price. I've been using Superfeet insoles for over a decade, specifically the blue version to help support my flat feet. Currently, most Superfeet insoles are 20% off.

Compression Socks
Blood clots are a hazard of long-haul travel. And, unfortunately, I know personally just how much they suck to deal with, especially overseas. That's why Katie and I make sure to wear compression socks whenever we fly for more than a couple of hours. These lightweight knee-high socks leave our legs ready for exploring a new city on arrival, rather than swollen and achy.
I've mostly been wearing Dr. Motion compression socks, but they're not currently on sale. However, you can save up to 52% on a three-pack of similar socks. After the discount, a three-pack of socks costs just $12.99 — or just over $4 a pair. Buy it here.

Melatonin Tabs
One of the clutch supplies we carry with us on every trip is melatonin. This sleep support supplement helps us doze off when we need help adjusting to a new time zone — or when a busy day of work still has us buzzing late at night. Just be careful if you haven't taken melatonin before. I recommend getting the 3 mg tablets and starting with one. If you don't find that effective, you can always double it.
You currently can pick up a whopping 240 quick-dissolving melatonin tablets for just $7.74 — which is 29% off the standard price. Buy it here.

Nuun Hydration Tabs
Travel can be exhausting. Buying water or sports drinks can be expensive — particularly in touristy destinations. Depending on where you're visiting, tap water taste can vary from delicious to hard to swallow. That's why we pack several canisters of Nuun electrolyte tablets. We can pop one of these tablets in our water bottle, fill it up, and have a nice-tasting and reinvigorating drink in about a minute.
The best deal isn't even flagged as a discount. You can currently snag an eight-pack of 10 tablets for $29.75 — less than $4 per pack. Or see all of the discounted Nuun options here.
Final Thoughts
