If you’ve got a Southwest credit card and plan to put some serious spend on it this quarter, we've got just the promotion for you.

Targeted cardholders can unlock the chance to earn 25% bonus points — up to 20,000 bonus points — after meeting a $3,000 spending threshold. These are Companion Pass-qualifying points, so you can potentially put a sizable dent in your progress toward earning one of the best perks in award travel with this offer.

Here’s what to know and how to register.

Earn 25% Bonus Points After Spending $3,000 on Your Southwest Credit Card

The newest Southwest credit card spending offer gives targeted, enrolled cardholders the chance to earn 25% bonus points after spending $3,000 between April 1 and June 30, 2025. Once you hit that threshold, you’ll earn bonus points on all eligible purchases — up to 20,000 bonus points.

It goes without saying that's a lot of spending — and it's a pretty sizable threshold to hit in the first place. But this could be particularly useful (at least somewhat) if you plan to pay your taxes with a credit card this year.

In addition, these bonus points will count toward earning the Southwest Companion Pass but not toward A-List or A-List Preferred qualification. And it's worth noting that all purchases in the promotional period count as long as you register — even if you registered after April 1.
