Chase planned to increase the annual fee on the Chase Sapphire Reserve® from $450 to $550 on April 1, 2020. However, due to the pandemic, Chase has delayed this implementation over and over. And Chase confirmed to AwardWallet that the annual fee on renewal will continue to be just $450 through March 2021.

You have plenty of time to take advantage of the promotion, which runs through December 31, 2018. This promotion is targeted, so you will have to check your email, to make sure that you have been selected for the offer.

Earn up to $50 in statement credit for spending in November and December 2018.

You can now earn 60,000 bonus Ultimate Rewards points for opening or upgrading to a Chase Sapphire Banking account. To earn the bonus, you will need to deposit $75,000 of new money into the Chase Sapphire account and maintain it for at least 90 days.

Chase has announced a promotion when making payments with Chase Pay at Best Buy stores, and online at restaurants on Tock and eBags. The promotion applies on a combined total of $200 in purchases per card and runs through September 30, 2018.

Booking travel with Chase Ultimate Rewards just got better after it was announced that Chase has partnered with Expedia to run their Chase travel portal. The move is excellent news for Chase cardholders since Expedia group also owns Travelocity, Orbitz and Hotwire.com travel search engines, which should result in many more options.

Holders of the now unavailable IHG® Rewards Club Select Credit Card will be happy to hear that IHG and Chase, have rolled back on the devaluation of the annual Free Night certificate that comes with card membership. The news was confirmed by IHG Service via twitter, and you will be able to use your certificate at any IHG hotel through May 1, 2019.

It appears as though Chase will be cutting some benefits from the Chase Sapphire Reserve®. The move comes relatively quickly after Chase abolished Price and Returns protection across most of its cards. According to a document obtained by Doctor of Credit, the changes will affect some of the 3X earning on travel, as well as the guest access policy for the complimentary Priority Pass membership.

Chase has finally announced the end date for the increased offer on the British Airways Visa Signature® Card, giving new card members until June 27 to apply for the six-figure bonus. This is an outstanding offer for this card, with an affordable minimum spending requirement that won't break the bank.

Chase has announced that Chase/Visa offers are now available to its The Hyatt Credit Card holders. According to Doctor of Credit, the program is expected to run through July 31, 2018. To take advantage of this promo you need to register your Hyatt Card prior to making an eligible purchase.

When we reviewed the best credit cards for Price Protection, Chase cards came out on top. Sadly this will no longer be the case. Chase has quietly eliminated Price Protection and Return Protection from nearly all of its cards. When you visit the landing page of most Chase cards and click on Service & protection or Travel & purchase coverage, you will no longer see either benefit listed as a card feature.

Following the disappointing recent news that IHG was devaluing the free night certificate earned with the IHG® Rewards Club Premier Credit Card, IHG has formalized the devaluation, a published a list of hotels that you cannot use your free night certificate at. The list consists of IHG hotels which have a base redemption rate over 40,000 points per night.

Chase has added eligibility restrictions to the consumer versions of its Southwest Credit Cards. The new eligibility criteria affect the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card, Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card, and Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card. The change may make getting the Southwest Companion Pass a little more difficult going forward.
