Amazon Visa Card Details

The Amazon Visa also comes with a $0 annual fee. It was formerly called the Amazon Rewards Visa Signature Card, so the new name is much simpler.

New applicants can earn a $50 Amazon gift card instantly upon account approval.

Cardholders earn cash back as follows:

  • 3% back at Amazon and Whole Foods Market
  • 3% back on purchases made through Chase Travel
  • 2% back at restaurants and at gas stations

  • 1% back on all other purchases

There are no minimum redemption amounts, and the Amazon Visa also provides the same concierge and insurance perks as the Prime Visa.

Bottom Line

The refreshed Amazon credit cards from Chase have expanded earning capabilities. Now that Amazon owns Whole Foods, this makes sense. The cash back you earn can be redeemed for statement credits, gift cards, within the Chase travel portal, or redeemed for future Amazon purchases.
