Eligibility is limited for the Amex Offers discussed in this post. Enrollment is required in the Amex Offers section of your account before redeeming.

If you’re reading this, it’s probably a safe bet that you enjoy saving money. We get it; we do too. While redeeming points and miles for almost-free travel often gets the spotlight, some of the easiest savings come from discounts on everyday purchases.

If you have any banking relationship with Chase — a checking account, credit card, or both — Chase Offers can be an easy way to save real cash on purchases you’re already making. These offers don’t require portals, coupon codes, or special shopping behavior. Activate them, use the right card to pay for an eligible purchase, and the savings show up automatically.

In this post, we’ll walk through what Chase Offers are, who’s eligible, how to find them, and how to use them without falling into the trap of spending more just to “save” a few dollars.

What Are Chase Offers?

Chase Offers are personalized discounts in the form of cash back for purchases made with specific retailers. This can be a percentage back based on your purchase total or a flat rate back on any purchase. Chase Offers are very similar to shopping offers from other banks, like Amex Offers and Capital One Offers.

Essentially, Chase looks at your spending habits then tailors offers to you based on stores or categories where you frequently shop. If you have multiple Chase cards and spend differently on each, you'll likely have a different set of offers for each card.

Who Is Eligible for Chase Offers?

In basic terms, all Chase debit and credit cards are eligible, as long as the primary cardholder has a U.S. home or business address. However, Chase's FAQ page for Chase Offers states “certain” cards are eligible, so there's a chance that a card you hold may not have any offers.

Drawing from experience, I currently have seven Chase accounts open — one checking account, three personal credit cards, and three business credit cards. All seven of my accounts have Chase Offers. Though the offers differ by account, with some having more than others, I have hundreds of offers in total between all of my accounts. If there's something I want to buy, I likely have a Chase Offer for it.

What Chase Offers Are Available?

The selection of Chase Offers available is personalized based on how you tend to use each card. However, there is generally a wide selection. They can include everything from travel and healthcare to business needs and clothing.

As frequent travelers, we are partial to the travel-related Chase Offers. While the offers are constantly changing, travel-related Chase Offers frequently include:

  • Airlines (e.g., Southwest, EVA Air)
  • Hotels (e.g., Hyatt brands, Marriott brands, IHG brands, Gaylord Palms, Great Wolf Lodge)
  • Car rentals (e.g., Sixt, Turo)
  • eSIM (e.g., Airalo)
  • Viator

Where Do You Find Your Chase Offers?

Cardholders do not need to enroll to participate in Chase Offers. However, you will need to activate each offer for your account. So, it's important to know exactly how to find them.

Desktop browser

On a computer, navigate to the Chase homepage and log in to your account. From here, scroll down and look on the right side of the page. You should see where it says Chase Offers. Click on “See your offers.”

After this, choose which card you'd like to see offers for.

Mobile app

In the Chase Mobile App, you'll find Chase Offers near the bottom of your account summary main page. Select “See all available deals” to be taken to your offers.

From here, just like with the desktop option, you can select the card you'd like to see.

How Do I Use My Chase Offers?

For each Chase Offer that you see, there will be several bits of important information to note:

  • The card associated with the offer
  • The brand/vendor for the offer
  • The rebate amount
  • When the offer expires
  • Whether the offer has been activated on your card

If you click the offer, you will not only activate it but also find the rest of the terms and conditions. For most Chase Offers, this includes the limit on your discount.

For example, I have an active Chase Offer for 5% back with Viator. When I read the fine print, I see it's a $10 credit for my first two purchases on Viator, up to a $20 total credit.

Furthermore, it's important to remember that you have to make your purchase with the correct card. Pay close attention to which card you are adding an offer to, and be sure to use that card when paying for the purchase. Once you've successfully redeemed a Chase Offer, the cash back will show up as a statement credit in your account within 7–14 business days.

Getting the Most Out of Chase Offers

A fundamental principle we preach here is to never spend more than usual to chase extra points or cash back. It's important to remember this. It can be tempting to see discounts from your favorite vendors and try to take advantage of them all. It's the buffet conundrum!

And just like a buffet can lead to over-eating, these discounts can lead to overspending. We recommend following this simple rule:

Unless you already have a plan for a purchase at a vendor, don't go out of your way to make one because of a Chase Offer.

So, how to maximize the offers? For most people, the best way to take advantage of Chase Offers is to activate them and then forget them. I usually check my Chase Offers when I log in to my account to pay bills. If there's an offer I have even the slightest chance of using, I activate it. That way, if I happen to make a purchase with that retailer, the discount will be completely genuine. Otherwise, I don't focus on them much.

Think Outside the Box

With that said, there is one tip I will mention. When it comes to Chase Offers, try thinking outside the box.

For example, consider a Hyatt Place offer of 15% cash back on purchases of $100 or more with a $45 cash-back maximum. How can you take advantage of the offer other than a hotel stay? What about a Hyatt gift card bought from the front desk?

If you already plan on staying at some Hyatt hotels in the near future, getting a $300 gift card for $255 is a pretty good deal. Just be sure to check the terms, as some offers mention that gift cards aren't eligible.

Final Thoughts

As award travelers, we’re naturally inclined to look for ways to stretch our dollars further. Points and miles let us unlock experiences we might not otherwise pay for, but tools like Chase Offers help reduce the cash cost of everyday life along the way.

Chase Offers aren’t flashy, and they won’t radically change your financial picture overnight. But stack them with purchases you’re already making, and over time, those small statement credits can add up faster than you might expect.

The best approach is simple: activate offers liberally, spend intentionally, and don’t let discounts dictate your buying behavior. Take a few minutes each month to review what’s available, and let the savings happen naturally. You may be surprised at how quickly the savings add up.

I love Chase Offers, especially when I can stack them with other deals, such as category earnings and portal purchases.

I love Chase offers and always load them to my cards just in case. The ones I use most often are for dining, Rite Aid, and previously, hotels. Glad to see you add the caveat about them only being a good deal if you were planning to purchase anyway!

    Jameel Nicholson says:

Thanks for posting this – I just got the CSP & the FU combo, and this will be helpful for when I start using these cards and navigating the app. I do have one question, though…do we still earn the normal rate of UR points whenever we purchase something specifically through Chase Offers?

      JT Genter says:

You should! I haven’t used Chase Offers myself, but I assume that it will be similar to Amex Offers: The transaction will post at the full purchase price. Points would be based on that. Then, you’ll get a statement credit for the offer.

    Dean Samuelson says:

I was able to redeem my first one at Hyatt House. I’ll be looking to use more of these now.

Very good advice, “to never spend more than normal in an effort to chase rewards” thank you!

I’ve gotten a few emails about these offers but haven’t paid much attention (so many programs to keep track of). Based on the information in this post, I’ll give them another look. Thanks!

Just tried Chase offers and starting to redeem them. Hope they expand their offerings more like AMEX offers.

I always use a different card at some of the places I see above. I wonder if I use my Chase card whether I will see those offers as well?

This is a good reminder, I haven’t found any good Chase offers but I’ll take a look again. Thanks!

I’m always on the look out for innovative ways to save some money. I really like the sound of the gift card idea. I’m going to give this a try.

Is the maximum $120 Kimpton rebate a liftime one?

$120 is the max for this promotion. We’ve never seen any lifetime language with these, so if you use this one and six months from now there is another Kimpton offer, you should be eligible for that too.

I also register for every offer. You do hove to watch the conditions…I thought I had fulfilled the requirements for one of them but then realized that I hadn’t quite spent enough money at the hotel. This is one situation where if I had booked a slightly upgraded room, I would have actually saved money overall due to the Chase offer kicking in a refund after the fact.

Are they stackable with ebates as well?

I’m really glad that Chase Offers are not just on their app, but on the web in general. There are just too many apps competing for limited amount of space on my phone. right now.

I think Chase offers are a bit too weak with usual saving rates of 5-10%.
Hopefully we’ll see discounts in the range of 10-20%.

Indeed, let this feature / benefit be your ultimate money saving tool rather than being the slave of it.

I have used these quite a bit. I love them. I do exactly what you say but mostly because I cannot remember which is on which card so I just use whatever card gives me the best amount of points for my purchase and if I get money back ok, if not then ok. Every now and then I look in the app and see if I save money anywhere.

I get these on my Alaska Bank of America card too. I like that there I got McDonalds! That was a nice surprise. I have an 8yr old that just loves the kids meals. I think Chase picked it up and offered them too once. I find that I get better deals through Chase than Amex for where I shop.
Have ya’ll found that you like the deals more with Chase or Amex or BofA?

I love Chase offers! Just redeemed one for $25 back from cricket wireless.

I had pocketed my Freedom card in favor of a different card for awhile, and have only recently (within the past month) rediscovered it since I started following these blog posts. I find it interesting that I haven’t used the card for a few years now but I have offers that are actually relevant to my normal spend. Really grateful for the tip about purchasing gift cards using the cash back for a discount!!!

Amex offers for my Hilton and SPG cards seems to offer more value to me than the Chase offers I’ve seen for my Chase IHG Mastercard or Southwest Priority Visa

Great information. Does anyone know how long it takes AA to post eShopping points?

I register for all of them even if I don’t have intent to make a purchase. This week I received an email stating I had fulfilled a Chase offer at AirBnB I forgot I registered for, which was a nice surprise.

Wow, lucky you with the surprise! I am in love with this program!

And, that right there is why I do as well. That’s produced a pleasant surprise for me a few times now. Of course, I want a “register for all” with one click option, but I suspect they’re not going to offer that to us, unfortunately.

I realize that compared to AmEx offers, the Chase Offers program is still essentially in its infancy, but I have honestly yet to find a useful offer attached to any of my Chase cards. Hopefully we’ll see the program continue to grow.

Do the giftcard purchases always work to activate the offers? I was curious about the Starbucks one in particular.

Very good tips to avoid impulse purchases when we have discounted offers, cash back, etc …

I was so surprised to notice when these started. I’ve been enjoying them for quite some time now and saving money! Thanks for this very thorough and informative post!
