Unfortunately, Hyatt's new hotels bonus offer is changing as the calendar flips to October 2026. Now, you will earn double World of Hyatt points per stay at new hotels. For cheap stays, this is a major downgrade — rewarding far fewer points. But for expensive stays, this can yield even more points.

Although this promotion is less lucrative than the old Hyatt new hotel bonus, there's one silver lining: many more hotels to choose from. In September 2026, 32 hotels were eligible. This month, 64 hotels are eligible. That means you're much more likely to be able to take advantage of the promotion.

- Your check-out date must be between the hotel's qualifying dates.
- Your account must be in good standing at the time of your stay.
- You'll earn 2X points when booking the “New Hotel Member Bonus Offer” rate.
- You can earn a maximum of 25,000 bonus points per qualifying stay.
- Only up to three rooms will qualify for this offer.
- A limited number of rooms are allocated to this offer.
- Offer not valid with groups, conventions, other promotional offers, packages, or special rate programs.
- Bonus points may take three to four weeks after checkout to post to your account.
- Properties can be added or removed from the list at any time — and the promotional dates may change.

There are currently quite a few World of Hyatt promotions. For instance, through December 15, 2026, you can earn 3,000 bonus points for every three nights you stay. Earning just 2X points through this new hotel offer pales in comparison. However, if you were already planning on staying at one of these hotels in the next couple of months, it's a great way to boost the points you already earn on Hyatt stays.
