Philippine Airlines awards are finally bookable with Alaska Atmos Rewards points. More than a year after Alaska announced this partnership — and following multiple delays — members can now search for and book Philippine Airlines awards directly through Alaska’s website.

Pricing is competitive and initial award availability is strong. Nonstop awards from select North American gateways to Manila start at 37,500 Atmos points in economy or 75,000 points in business class.

Redeem Atmos Points on Philippine Airlines Flights

Philippine Airlines awards became bookable through Alaska on July 27, 2026. This opens another way to redeem Alaska Atmos Rewards points for nonstop flights to Manila and onward connections throughout Asia.

Philippine Airlines serves Manila nonstop from several North American gateways, and awards aren’t limited to the U.S. West Coast airports Alaska highlighted when announcing the partnership.

Alaska prices Philippine Airlines redemptions according to its distance-based Asia Pacific partner award chart:

Based on that chart and Philippine Airlines’ route map, here are the starting prices for its nonstop North American routes:

For example, you can fly from Vancouver to Manila on June 3, 2027 for:

  • Economy: 37,500 Atmos points plus $63 one-way
  • Business class: 75,000 Atmos points plus $63 one-way

And business class award availability isn't sparse. Each of the departures shown below offers at least five business-class award seats:

In fact, award availability is fairly widespread. We're currently seeing award availability on every one of Philippine Airlines' 5x weekly flights from Seattle (SEA) to Manila (MNL) in May 2027:

Atmos Rewards members can book one stopover of up to 14 days on an eligible one-way international partner award. That could let you visit Manila before continuing elsewhere in Asia. Just remember that the total itinerary distance will determine the award price.

Remember that Philippine Airlines must release award space before it will appear through Alaska. You’ll also pay government taxes and Alaska’s nonrefundable partner award booking fee — unless you have the Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® Card and get this fee waived.

How the Alaska–Philippine Airlines Partnership Developed

Alaska Airlines announced Philippine Airlines as its 32nd global partner on May 1, 2025. At the time, Alaska said members would soon be able to book Philippine Airlines flights through its website and earn or redeem Mileage Plan miles.

Earning went live later in 2025, but award redemptions missed the original timeline. Alaska eventually pushed the redemption launch into 2026.

Earning also became more restrictive after it first launched. Atmos Rewards members now earn points only on eligible Philippine Airlines flights booked through Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines. Flights booked directly with Philippine Airlines or through other channels won’t earn Atmos points.

Final Thoughts

It took much longer than Alaska initially suggested, but Philippine Airlines awards are finally available through Atmos Rewards. That’s particularly useful because Philippine Airlines offers several nonstop routes between North America and Manila and historically hasn’t had many easily accessible redemption partners.

Paying 37,500 points in economy or 75,000 points in business class from Vancouver is competitive — especially when multiple premium-cabin seats are available. Just check the total itinerary distance, taxes, and availability before building your plans around a particular redemption.

You can build your Atmos Rewards balance with an Alaska credit card.
