The Atmos™
One benefit that might fly under your radar is access to Alaska Lounges. Although you don't get unlimited access, you do get eight lounge passes each year. Here's how you can earn and redeem them.

- 3X points on eligible dining, foreign transactions, Alaska Airlines, and Hawaiian Airlines purchases
- 1X point on all other purchases
- 10% points bonus with an eligible Bank of America® account
How To Earn the Atmos Summit Visa Card Lounge Passes
As a cardholder of the Atmos Summit Visa Card, you will receive two Alaska Lounge passes each quarter. These passes will expire at the end of the quarter they are issued. For example, if you receive a lounge pass in January, it expires at the end of March. You will receive a total of eight passes through the year (two per quarter) for as long as you hold the card.
Most cards offer exciting benefits, but you usually need to do something to unlock them. One of the best things about the Atmos Summit Visa Card is that you get these Alaska Lounge passes just by holding the card. No extra hoops for you to jump through. However, since they are use-it-or-lose-it, you'll want to time your visits carefully.

How To Use The Atmos Summit Visa Card Alaska Lounge Passes
These passes are very easy to use. Head to the Alaska Airlines app or website, log in, and click the Rewards link under your account profile. There, you will see a variety of benefits, including your milestone rewards and companion awards. You will also notice a section with a ‘Your Rewards' header that lists your lounge day passes.
Each of your two available quarterly passes will be displayed, along with their use-by date.

When traveling, you don't even need to show the passes in your account to enter the lounge. As long as your Atmos Rewards number is linked to your ticket, you can simply show your boarding pass to the friendly Alaska Lounge ambassadors and tell them you want to use one of your passes. Once you use a pass, it's gone, and you will have to wait until the next quarter for two new passes.
To enjoy lounge access, you must be ticketed on a same-day flight on Alaska, Hawaiian, or a partner airline. Access is granted to one adult, plus up to two accompanying children per pass. These are day passes, which means they are good for the entire travel day on which they are redeemed. In other words, on connecting itineraries, you can gain access to more than one Alaska Lounge on the way to your final destination.
Can I gift my Atmos Summit Visa Card Lounge Passes?
Surprisingly, yes! While these passes are deposited into your Atmos Rewards account, they're not actually issued under your name. If friends or family are flying through an airport with Alaska Lounges and you won't use your own passes, you can treat them to the experience.
All you have to do is share the code that appears on your pass when you redeem it. They may be asked to validate your full name and Atmos Rewards number to ensure they have permission to use these gifted passes.
Which Lounges Can I Access With the Atmos Summit Visa Card Alaska Lounge Passes?
Unlike access that comes with a paid lounge membership, these lounge passes are only good for Alaska Lounge locations, not Alaska's partner lounges. Alaska has a small (but mighty!) airport lounge presence, primarily in the Pacific Northwest. You can find Alaska Lounges in the following airports:
- Anchorage (ANC)
- Los Angeles (LAX)
- Portland (PDX)
- San Francisco (SFO)
- Seattle-Tacoma (SEA)
Alaska used to operate a lounge in New York (JFK), but it closed in October 2025.

Bottom Line
The Atmos Summit Visa Card Alaska Lounge Passes are a phenomenal way to upgrade your travel experience if you regularly fly Alaska Airlines. With the card, you get a couple of chances each quarter to visit one of the Alaska Lounges the airline operates on the West Coast. Plus, while you're in the lounge, you can enjoy drinks from the elevated bar program, exclusively offered to cardholders.
This is just one of many benefits available to cardholders of the Atmos Summit Visa Card. If you're a Oneworld loyalist, this is a fantastic card to consider.
