Alaska Airlines has launched new preferred CLEAR+ pricing for Atmos Rewards elite members — and the savings are substantially better than the loyalty program's longstanding $10 member discount. Silver, Gold, and Platinum members now save $40 per year, while top-tier Titanium members save $90 off the standard membership fee.
Non-elite Atmos Rewards members still receive the existing $10 discount and pay $209 annually. But for elite members who regularly use CLEAR+, this new tiered pricing represents a meaningful new benefit.
The new CLEAR+ discounts arrive amid a big year for Alaska Airlines and Atmos Rewards. The airline has introduced a new international livery, announced several exciting international routes, and revealed plans for an upcoming new lounge opening in 2027. Now, eligible Atmos Rewards members can also pay significantly less to breeze through airport security.
What Is CLEAR+?
CLEAR+ is a paid service that uses your biometric data to verify your identity and help you move through airport security more quickly. The service is available at more than 50 airports and can be used alone or combined with TSA PreCheck for an even smoother airport experience.
Without any discounts, a CLEAR+ membership now costs $219 per year. Several credit cards offer a CLEAR+ statement credit that can offset the membership fee, and some frequent flyers can receive discounted or complimentary membership through airline loyalty programs. However, travelers without access to one of these benefits generally have few ways to reduce the cost.
New Atmos Rewards CLEAR+ Discounts
Atmos Rewards members — and members of its predecessor, Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan — have received preferred CLEAR+ pricing for years. Previously, the primary benefit was a $10 annual discount available to all members.
Alaska has now introduced substantially better pricing for Atmos Rewards elites. The new annual CLEAR+ membership rates are:
- Atmos Rewards members without elite status: $209 per year ($10 off)
- Silver, Gold, and Platinum members: $179 per year ($40 off)
- Titanium members: $129 per year ($90 off)
That means Titanium members now pay $80 less per year than non-elite Atmos Rewards members and $90 less than CLEAR+'s standard annual price.
New CLEAR+ members can sign up and enter their Atmos Rewards number using this enrollment link to receive the applicable rate.

Earning Atmos Rewards elite status requires a fair amount of travel or spending. However, travelers without status can access the $209 member price simply by enrolling in Atmos Rewards.
How to Pay Nothing Out of Pocket for CLEAR+
Regardless of which Atmos Rewards discount you qualify for, you may be able to reduce your out-of-pocket cost for CLEAR+ to zero using a benefit offered by several American Express cards. Eligible cards provide an annual CLEAR+ statement credit of up to $219. That's enough to cover the standard cost of an individual membership after statement credits. If you combine this statement credit with your Atmos Rewards discount, your reduced individual membership fee can be fully covered. Better yet, the discounted rate leaves part of the $219 credit available to offset the cost of adding an adult family member.
