50k Bonus Alaska Mileage Plan Miles with a Home Mortgage Through Rate.com

Rate.com, formerly Guaranteed Rate, is a U.S. lender with pretty good reviews. The lender has good views across many platforms, including thousands of 5-star reviews when the company was Guaranteed Rate. To attract more customers, it has partnered with Alaska Airlines to offer a good number of bonus points with a new or refinanced home mortgage.

Alaska 50,000 Points with Rate Mortgage

The U.S. has hundreds of mortgage lenders, and which one you go with will depend on convenience, the best rate you can get, and many other factors. Rate is tempting customers to get a mortgage with them by offering 50,000 bonus Alaska Mileage Plan miles with a new or refinanced mortgage.

On average, AwardWallet users have redeemed Alaska Mileage Plan miles for 2.34¢ each. As such, 50,000 bonus miles are worth more than $1,000.

To claim your bonus miles, you must apply for your loan by calling Rate directly or use this link to start your mortgage application. The offer does not apply retroactively.

Our Take

Earning 50,000 bonus Alaska Mileage Plan miles with a loan is a great incentive to use Rate. However, when you consider that you're going to be spending hundreds of thousands (if not more) on the purchase of a new house, $1,000 in Alaska miles is a drop in the bucket.

Many lenders offer rewards based on the loan value. As this offer is the same for all applicants, it's a better reward for smaller loan amounts (such as for homes far from the West Coast).

Always make sure to use the best lender for your needs rather than just chasing the best rewards. Take the time to compare Rate's rates and fees to ensure you get the best loan. Also, consider receiving 50,000 bonus miles if you complete your loan while this offer is still available.
