Southwest Business 2026 Fall Loyalty Promotion Details
Through October 31, 2026, you can earn promotional A-List status and 20,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points when you travel for business. Your promotional A-List status will remain valid through December 31, 2026, so try to reach it as quickly as possible to enjoy its benefits for as long as you can.
First, you need to register for the promotion by logging in to your Rapid Rewards account and scrolling to the very bottom of the screen to see the promotion details. This could be a targeted promotion, so if you don't see anything, you aren't eligible.
Once you register, you can book flights through your company's preferred eligible distribution channel:
- Book and fly 2 round-trip flights or 4 one-way flights to earn A-List status through December 31, 2026.
- Book and fly 4 round-trip flights or 8 one-way flights to earn A-List status through December 31, 2026, plus 20,000 bonus Rapid Rewards points.
If you already have A-List status, you can still earn the 20,000 bonus points by flying 4 round-trip or 8 one-way flights.
On average, AwardWallet users redeem Rapid Rewards points for 1.52¢ apiece, so 20,000 bonus points are worth roughly $300. The value of A-List status will depend on how frequently you fly with Southwest.
Southwest A-List status is the first Southwest elite status tier, and comes with a variety of benefits, including:

Terms and conditions
- Earn promotional A-List status through December 31, 2026, and 20,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points when you register, book in eligible distribution channels, and fly qualifying flights by October 31, 2026.
- Flights can be booked through swabiz.com, the Global Distribution System, or a direct connect/API partner through Southwest Partner Services.
- Each booking must include the member's Rapid Rewards number at the time of booking.

Maximize Your Earnings With Credit Cards
Southwest offers two business credit cards that can allow you to earn even more Rapid Rewards points through this promotion.
The Southwest® Rapid Rewards® Premier Business Credit Card (Rates & Fees) offers a variety of benefits in exchange for a $149 annual fee. You'll earn 3X points per $1 spent on Southwest purchases, so if business travel gets expensive, you'll earn a nice chunk of points.

You'll earn an elevated 4X points per $1 on Southwest purchases, the ability to upgrade to an extra legroom seat within 48 hours of departure (as available), and the ability to select a complimentary preferred seat at booking. As you can see, these are many of the same perks you receive with A-List status, which means holding the card can allow you to enjoy similar benefits beyond the end of the promotion.

If you're going to take advantage of this promotion, you might as well earn extra Rapid Rewards points on your booking. And if you're applying for a new Southwest business card, booking four round-trip flights can be a great way to reach a welcome bonus.

Bottom Line
If you were already planning on traveling for work in the next few months, this is a promotion worth registering for. However, if you have to go out of your way to take four round-trip flights or eight one-way flights by the end of October, temporary A-List status and 20,000 bonus points might not be worth it.
Either way, if you frequently travel with Southwest for business trips, applying for a Southwest business credit card can allow you to enjoy elite-style benefits and earn bonus points.
