Each day this week, United Airlines is offering special award pricing to a different European destination. The catch? This award pricing is bookable for one day only and is only available to cardholders of a United credit card. If you're eligible, you can pay a modest 25k-28k MileagePlus miles plus applicable taxes and fees for these award flights.

United Award Sale: Fly to London for 25K MileagePlus Miles
Last week, United Airlines teased that this mystery award sale was coming. And now, it's here. Today, you can book economy awards to London (LHR) for just 25,000 United miles each way.
Here's a recap of this week-long award sale:
- January 5, 2026: Dublin (DUB) for 25k miles
- January 6, 2026: Frankfurt (FRA) for 28k miles
- January 7, 2026: London (LHR) for 25k miles
- January 8, 2026: TBD
- January 9, 2026: TBD
Although it technically uses dynamic pricing, United typically charges 40,000 MileagePlus miles each way for awards to Europe. As such, this deal doesn't exactly border on “too good to refuse.” However, any discount is better than no discount — especially if you're just trying to get to Europe on points and miles without spending more points than you have to.

With this promotion, there are a few key terms you'll want to be aware of, such as:
- Each destination is on sale for 24 hours only.
- Eligible travel dates range from January 12 to May 7, 2026.
- United economy is the only eligible fare class on sale.
