Emirates’ “Mile a Minute” promotion is back, offering Skywards members 1 bonus mile for every minute spent in Dubai on an eligible Emirates booking. You can earn up to 7,200
You’ll need to register and book by November 5, 2026, and complete your travel by December 13, 2026. That leaves little time to take advantage of this offer.
Here’s what to know before booking.
How Emirates’ Mile a Minute Promotion Works
Start by registering through Emirates’ promotion page. Here are the key requirements:
- Book a new round trip: Tickets must be booked and issued between October 21 and November 5, 2026. Existing bookings, one-way fares, and award tickets don’t qualify.
- Fly Emirates or flydubai: Eligible flights must carry an EK or FZ flight number and be operated by either airline. Other codeshares are excluded.
- Visit from outside the United Arab Emirates: UAE residents and tickets issued in or originating in the UAE are excluded.
- Stay between 24 hours and 30 days: Your entire eligible journey must fall between October 21 and December 13, 2026.
Eligible paid fares across all cabins qualify, and you can book directly or through a travel agent.
How Many Bonus Miles Can You Earn?
Earnings depend on the scheduled arrival and departure times on your ticket. At a mile a minute, the bonus works out to:
- 24 hours: 1,440 bonus miles
- Three days: 4,320 bonus miles
- Five days: The maximum 7,200 bonus miles
The bonus is in addition to your normal flight earnings. You can earn it only once, for your first eligible Dubai stay, with miles credited within 30 days after that stay ends.
Other Ways to Earn Emirates Skywards Miles
You don't have to fly Emirates — or stay in Dubai — to earn Skywards miles. Emirates partners with most major points currencies. However, many transfer ratios have been devalued over the past couple of years:
Your best option for earning a stash of Emirates Skywards miles is an Emirates credit card — or a Bilt credit card, since Bilt Points still transfer at a 1:1 ratio.

Our Take
This is a useful extra if you’re about to book a qualifying Dubai vacation or stopover. Even a three-day visit earns a reasonable bonus without requiring hotel bookings or spending with specific partners.
But 7,200 bonus miles wouldn’t justify a more expensive itinerary or extra hotel nights. Choose the trip that makes sense first, then register if it qualifies. And check the ticketing window carefully. Having an upcoming Emirates flight doesn’t automatically make you eligible.
