JetBlue TrueBlue members have a new promotion to earn up to 15,000 bonus points on IHG stays through November 30, 2024. Members can earn either 1,000 or 3,000 points per stay, depending on the length of stay. Here are the details of this offer.

IHG One Rewards often offers promotions to earn bonus airline miles (or points) — including UnitedEmirates, ANA, American Airlines, and most recently Lufthansa. The new promotion with JetBlue is similar to IHG's offer with other airlines.

JetBlue TrueBlue members now have a new promotion to earn bonus TrueBlue points on IHG stays. Unlike most of the promotions, which gives a miles multiplier, this offer is similar to the earlier Emirates promotion and gives a set number of bonus points per stay. However, just like every other promotion, members have a limit of 15,000 bonus points they can earn.

IHG Stays TrueBlue Points Promotion

To take advantage of this promotion, you need to link your IHG One Rewards and JetBlue TrueBlue accounts and set TrueBlue points as your earning preference on IHG stays. Through November 30, 2024, TrueBlue members will earn up to 3,000 bonus points per IHG stay, up to a total of 15,000 bonus points.

Stays of one or two consecutive nights earn 1,000 bonus points. Stays of three or more consecutive nights earn 3,000 bonus points. This promotion is capped at 15,000 bonus points, requiring minimally 15 nights. Of course, you get the best rewards with this promotion if all your stays are either one or three nights.

How many TrueBlue points can you earn on IHG stays?

Consistent with other hotel partnerships, TrueBlue members earn up to 2 points per dollar on IHG stays. Most brands give 2X points, Candlewood Suites and Staybridge Suites give 1X points, and Venetian Resorts offer 500 points per stay.

IHG Stays TrueBlue Points Promotion Information

The bonus points with this promotion are the same, regardless of which brand you stay at. As such, if you spent $100 on a one-night stay, you would earn 200 base points (100 points at Candlewood or Staybridge Suites) plus 1,000 bonus points.

Based on recent Awardwallet redemptions, JetBlue TrueBlue points are worth about 1.24¢ each. That means TrueBlue members are getting just over $12 worth of points back on a one or two-night stay and roughly $37 back on a 3+ night stay.

Our Take

This is one of the best IHG airline partner promotions we've seen to date. Most promotions offer triple miles on IHG stays. The ongoing IHG-Lufthansa promotion is much better multiplier-wise, with quintuple rewards (10X instead of 2X miles). This promotion is potentially more lucrative, but it just depends on how much you spend per night and whether you book and complete enough one- or three-night stays by November 30, 2024, to get the best rewards.
