One thing is for certain in the points and miles world — change is constant. FoundersCard, which is a membership club focused on offering rewards and perks for entrepreneurs and small business owners, has been an invaluable tool for unlocking travel benefits. But one of its most compelling perks has been automatic Caesars Rewards Diamond status.
As of February 1, 2025, FoundersCard has discontinued this perk, ending its partnership with Caesars entirely. However, to compensate for the loss, it has partnered with Wynn Rewards; members are now entitled to Wynn Rewards Platinum status.
Let’s break down this change and explore what’s gained and lost in this recent FoundersCard update.
A Big Loss: FoundersCard Drops Caesars Diamond Status
I held a FoundersCard membership for several years until 2020, and one of its most valuable benefits was Caesars Diamond status. Caesars Diamond members received the following perks, among other benefits:
- No resort fees at their Las Vegas and other casino properties in the U.S.
- Guaranteed 72-hour room availability in Las Vegas
- Yearly $100 Celebration Dinner or $50 Uber Eats Credit
- Complimentary self and valet parking
- Complimentary annual 4-night Atlantis Bahamas stay
For one, Caesars has nine Las Vegas Strip properties, each charging $50+ per night in resort fees after tax. If you frequent Las Vegas, this perk alone translated into major savings. From my personal experience, some of Caesars’ more budget-friendly properties — like the Linq or Harrah’s — could cost under $20 per night all-in if you have Caesars Diamond status. Overall, FoundersCard members are losing substantial savings and flexibility for their next Vegas trip.

Another benefit that will be missed is the $100 yearly Celebration Dinner, which could be used at select restaurants in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Tahoe. Over the years, I’ve redeemed this credit at top-tier restaurants like Nobu, Giada’s, and Gordon Ramsay Steak. Wynn Rewards Platinum offers a similar perk but with key restrictions — more on that below
Finally, the complimentary 4-night Atlantis Bahamas stay was a unique benefit. Many AwardWallet writers took advantage of this offer, gaining access to one of the world’s most iconic resorts while significantly reducing their travel costs.
Now, let's see what FoundersCard members stand to gain with their new partner, Wynn Rewards.

FoundersCard Adds Wynn Rewards Platinum Status
On February 1, 2025, FoundersCard replaced Caesars Diamond status with Wynn Rewards Platinum status. Wynn operates Wynn and Encore Las Vegas, Encore Boston, Wynn Macau, and Encore Macau. Here’s what Platinum status includes:
- Up to 30% off hotel rooms
- Priority seating at the Wynn Buffet
- Free self-parking
- $100 spa or salon credit
- $150 birthday dinner credit
- Complimentary Wynn Connoisseur Series for two

Some of the best Wynn Platinum benefits are excluded from FoundersCard — or have restrictions
While Wynn Rewards Platinum has a solid set of perks, not all carry over to FoundersCard members. For instance, one of the more exciting benefits of standard Wynn Platinum status is completely excluded from the FoundersCard version: A free Holland America cruise for two. If you want the cruise, you'll need to earn Wynn Platinum the traditional way.
Additionally, some of the headline benefits come with plenty of strings attached. Both the $100 spa/salon credit and the $150 birthday dinner credit require a minimum two-night stay at Wynn or Encore Las Vegas to redeem. That’s a notable difference from Caesars Rewards Diamond, which offered its $100 Celebration Dinner with no stay requirement and a minimal Tier Point earning requirement.
The same two-night rule applies to access to the Wynn Connoisseur Series, which offers unique experiences like private wine tastings, chef-led cooking classes, and behind-the-scenes resort tours.

But perhaps the biggest downside, though? Wynn Platinum status doesn’t waive resort fees. At the time of writing, Wynn and Encore charge $50 per night plus tax in resort fees, meaning you’re still looking at an extra $100+ on a two-night stay even with a discounted rate.
Caesars Diamond waived resort fees entirely. So, as you might gather, this isn't a 1:1 swap in terms of benefits. And that's pretty disappointing.
Get Three Free Months of FoundersCard

Final Thoughts
This is a clear downgrade for FoundersCard members, as trips to Vegas will be more expensive if they utilize this perk of membership. However, Wynn and Encore offer excellent experiences in Vegas. If you're taking multiple trips to Sin City a year, the new spa, birthday dinner credits, and Wynn Connoisseur Series tickets may be valuable to you.
