What was once called Paisly is now TrueBlue Travel, and the platform gives loyalty members more opportunities to earn and use points beyond just flights. In this post, we will break down the program changes, ways to both earn and redeem TrueBlue points, and what value to expect from the program.

JetBlue Replaces Paisly With JetBlue Travel

JetBlue announced its new travel portal on August 5, 2025, detailing how the new program would work. With the new name and branding comes even more ways to use your TrueBlue points:

“Offering a full-service booking experience that extends beyond flights, with options to book hotels, vacation rentals, car rentals, activities, theme park tickets, travel bags, and cruises, whether or not customers are flying with JetBlue.”

You can earn Mosaic tiles, too

The ability to earn redeemable points as well as tiles toward JetBlue status is a nice bonus. Earning one tile for every $100 in spend through the portal can add up quickly. As a reminder, Mosaic status can be achieved by earning the following tiles in a calendar year.

  • Mosaic 1 — 50 tiles
  • Mosaic 2 — 100 tiles
  • Mosaic 3— 150 tiles
  • Mosaic 4 — 250 tiles

Ways to Redeem Points Through JetBlue Travel

You don't need to have a JetBlue TrueBlue account to book through the new Travel portal. But by signing into your account or entering an upcoming flight, you can unlock more saving opportunities, such as up to 20% off hotel bookings and 500 bonus points on car rentals.

Example hotel redemption

When booking hotels, you can search JetBlue Travel and then toggle to pay with points if desired. In the examples below of Miami one-night hotel stays, you can see various price points paying with both cash and points.

The taxes and resort fees vary by property, but generally, TrueBlue points are redeemed at 0.8 cents per point when using them this way, which isn't that great considering what these points are worth if you redeem them with select airline partners.

The search also shows you the points and tiles you would earn with this booking. Those points would be multiplied when purchased with a JetBlue credit card.

Example rental redemption

Car rentals work the same way as hotels do. This two-day rental from Charlotte (CLT) costs $124.95 or 10,300 points plus $39.62. Again, this works out to 0.8 cents per point value for your TrueBlue points. Notice that you earn 100 points per day on the rental, no matter how you book.

You can't redeem points for cruises, though

Using points and miles for cruises is a difficult task, but can be a great way to earn points for that flight to get to the cruise port. Although TrueBlue travel doesn't allow you to use points to book a cruise, it does reward cruisers by earning 1 TrueBlue point per eligible $1 spent and 1 tile per eligible $100 spent. This four-day Caribbean cruise would earn roughly 1,442 TrueBlue points and 14 tiles toward status.

Considering AwardWallet users get 1.24¢ worth of value for their TrueBlue points when booking flights, redeeming for airfare will still be optimal rather than booking hotels and car rentals through the TrueBlue Travel program. However, the points earning can be intriguing for JetBlue loyalists when booking with cash.

Be sure to compare the JetBlue portal with other hotel and car rental options to make sure you are getting the best price.

Bottom Line

JetBlue has made changes to its TrueBlue Travel portal, changing the name and adding functionality. JetBlue's points are more flexible than ever now that they can be redeemed for hotels, vacations, car rentals, and more.

And while the redemption rates when using TruBlue points are less-than-stellar, the ability to earn points as well as tiles toward status are a welcome benefit of the new program. For JetBlue frequent fliers looking to add to their points balance, checking through TrueBlue Travel should definitely be an option worth considering.
