Wyndham Rewards is the largest and frequently one of the top-ranked hotel loyalty programs. Redemptions start at just 7,500 points — even for renting an entire condo — or 10% fewer points if you're a Wyndham cardholder. Plus, thanks to partnerships with Vacasa and cottages.com, Wyndham boasts that you can redeem points at over 50,000 properties through Wyndham Rewards.
Yet, Wyndham Rewards often flies under the radar for many points and miles collectors. If you haven't given the program a look recently, now's a good time to do so, as a few dozen vacation properties are set to increase in price on October 17, 2025.
Here's what you need to know about these changes and how to score the Wyndham Rewards points needed to book a stay before the price increase.
Wyndham Vacation Club Properties Increasing in Price
On October 17, 2025, Wyndham Rewards will increase award pricing at 39 Wyndham Vacation Club properties. Both “Go Free” free nights and “Go Fast” points + cash bookings will increase.
Since 2019, Wyndham Rewards has priced free nights at one of three prices: 7,500, 15,000, or 30,000 points. That means these category changes will result in award pricing doubling at these properties.

Earning Wyndham Rewards Points
Need some Wyndham Rewards points to book these properties before they go up? The quickest and cheapest way may be to simply buy Wyndham points. Now through October 21, Wyndham is offering 90% bonus points — which drops the price of buying Wyndham Rewards points to a best-ever 0.68¢ each. At that rate, you can book:
- 7,500-point properties for $51 per night
- 15,000-point properties for $102 per night
- 30,000-point properties for $204 per night
While it's hard to beat buying points that cheap, you can also top off your Wyndham Rewards balance through the following transfer partners:
That means you can transfer points earned through the following cards to Wyndham at a 1:1 transfer ratio:

- 5X miles per dollar on purchases through Capital One Entertainment (through 12/31/2025)
- 5X miles per dollar on hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel
- 2X miles per dollar on all other purchases

- 10X on Hotels, Car Rentals, and Attractions booked through CitiTravel.com
- 3X – Earn 3 Points per $1 spent on Air Travel and Other Hotel Purchases
- 3X – Earn 3 Points per $1 spent on Restaurants
- 3X – Earn 3 Points per $1 spent on Supermarkets

- 1.5X – Earn 1.5 Points per $1 spent on All Other Purchases.
But to score a 10% discount on Wyndham Rewards redemptions, you'll need to get a Wyndham co-branded credit card. Here are the current welcome offers on each:

- 5X points on Hotels by Wyndham and gas purchases
- 2X points on eligible dining and grocery purchases (excluding Target® and Walmart®)
- 1 point per dollar on all other purchases (excluding Wyndham timeshare down payments)

- 6X points on Hotels by Wyndham and gas purchases
- 4X points on eligible dining and grocery purchases (excluding Target® and Walmart®)
- 1 point per dollar on all other purchases (excluding Wyndham timeshare down payments)

- 8X points on Hotels by Wyndham and gas purchases
- 5X points on marketing, advertising, and utility purchases
- 1X on all other purchases (excluding Wyndham timeshare down payments)
If you're looking to avoid credit cards, Wyndham Rewards also offers a rewards-earning debit card.
Bottom Line
Wyndham Rewards is doubling award pricing at more than three dozen vacation condo properties on October 17, 2025. Thankfully, that still gives you two weeks to book at current award rates.
Even if you've never collected a single Wyndham Rewards point yet, you can generate the points needed by buying Wyndham Rewards points at a best-ever rate — or transfer them in from one of a few transfer partners.
But as word spreads about this devaluation, availability is going to get scooped up. So, get to booking now!
