RetailMeNot National Cash Back Day November 6-8

RetailMeNot is similar to Rakuten and TopCashBack, giving discounts and cash back on online purchases. In 2019, RetailMeNot created National Cash Back Day, offering enhanced cash back before Black Friday and Travel Tuesday.

Technically, it's called National Cash Back Day, but it lasts three days, so “week” makes more sense, and that's how TopCashBack calls it.

This year, National Cash Back Day is November 6-8, 2025. During these three days, RetailMeNot members can get up to 8% cash back (or more) at nearly 3,000 retailers. Our readers are probably most interested in cash back with travel merchants. Here are some highlights this year:

  • IHG: 14% cash back
  • Expedia: 8% cash back
  • Hotels.com: 8% cash back
  • Hotwire.com: 8% cash back
  • Orbitz: 8% cash back
  • VRBO: 6% cash back
  • Travelocity: 4% cash back

In order to get these deals, you will need to join RetailMeNot and make eligible purchases between November 6 and November 8, 2025.

Other National Cash Back Promotions

Although RetailMeNot created National Cash Back Day, it's not the only participant. Rakuten and TopCashBack also have deals, and some are even better than RetailMeNot. Rakuten is offering up to 10% cash back with select travel merchants for National Cash Back Day, and TopCashBack is offering up to 12% cash back.

Of course, travel merchants aren't the only deals available. As mentioned, members can get up to 35% cash back depending on the merchant. Just make sure to place your orders between November 6 and November 8.

Our Take

RetailMeNot's National Cash Back Day is a nice opportunity to get extra cash back on travel purchases. To get the most out of your purchase, though, make sure to use one of the best credit cards for travel purchases.

While the rewards can be pretty lucrative, remember to pay close attention to the terms and conditions. Generally, the best payout on travel bookings for hotels in particular are tied to non-refundable rates. In addition, booking third-party means you likely won't earn hotel points or elite status credits on your stays. But depending on what you value, the rewards might be worth the tradeoff.
