For points and miles enthusiasts, there’s no better surprise than waking up to a rewards program adding a new transfer partner. And on the morning of February 25, 2026, that’s exactly what happened. Chase Ultimate Rewards added its fourth hotel — and 14th overall — transfer partner: Wyndham Rewards.

Here’s what to know about this new addition, and our two cents on whether you should consider transferring your Chase points to Wyndham.

Chase Ultimate Rewards Adds Wyndham as New Transfer Partner

Chase Ultimate Rewards has several excellent transfer partners, and the addition of Wyndham Rewards grows the program’s roster from 13 to 14.

Even if Wyndham doesn’t immediately pique your enthusiasm, a new transfer partner means another way to redeem your Chase points. And more options are always a good thing, especially for a program that’s historically been a bit light on hotel partners.

Plus, there’s no lead time with this partnership. If you log in to your Chase Ultimate Rewards account now, you’ll see Wyndham listed as a transfer partner.

And effective immediately, you can transfer points to Wyndham Rewards at a 1:1 ratio.

The fine print states that most point transfers process by the next business day but may take up to seven business days. As more AwardWallet users transfer Chase points to Wyndham, we’ll gather additional data to provide a better estimate in our Transfer Times tool.

Should You Transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards Points to Wyndham?

On paper, Wyndham Rewards doesn’t come across as one of the more valuable Chase transfer partners. That’s largely because, on average, AwardWallet users redeem Wyndham Rewards points for 1.3¢ each, which is less than the 2¢ per point AwardWallet users get from Chase points.

And if you typically transfer your Chase points to World of Hyatt, this new addition probably won’t change your routine.

That said, there’s not absolutely no reason to transfer Chase points to Wyndham. You can occasionally redeem Wyndham points for outsized value if you book a property with an otherwise expensive cash rate.

Wyndham Rewards prices properties at 7,500, 15,000, or 30,000 points per night. At certain properties, especially in the Caribbean, it’s not unheard of to get north of 3¢ per point on a redemption.

With 1:1 transfers, that can be a solid deal to begin with — even if you’re just topping off your existing Wyndham balance to complete a booking.

How to Earn More Chase Ultimate Rewards Points

Whether it’s for transfers to Wyndham or one of the other Chase transfer partners, there are plenty of reasons to earn more Ultimate Rewards points. You can boost your balance by spending on the Ultimate Rewards-earning cards you already have or by using Chase’s shopping portal.

But if you’re looking to earn a bunch of points in one fell swoop, the best strategy is usually earning a welcome bonus on a new Ultimate Rewards card.

Bottom Line

Surprise, surprise. Chase Ultimate Rewards has a new transfer partner. And I’ll be honest, it felt like Chase might do something in the wake of losing a transfer partner late last year. Sure enough, that happened.

That said, the addition of Wyndham Rewards might not move the needle for a lot of travelers, but it will for some. And for those travelers, you’re now free to transfer your Chase points to Wyndham at a 1:1 ratio.
