The World of Hyatt program is my favorite hotel loyalty program for good reason. Thanks to its static award chart, Hyatt often charges far fewer points for a free night than its competitors — including when booking the best rooms at top-tier properties — in addition to the stellar benefits for elites. I frequently use my Hyatt Suite Upgrade Awards to confirm spacious rooms for my family when traveling domestically and abroad in advance.

Although its footprint isn't as big as other hotel programs, Hyatt has gone “all in” on luxury properties. As a result, World of Hyatt members have access to dozens of aspirational points bookings available throughout the world.

If you have a large Hyatt point balance (or some Ultimate Rewards points stashed away), you might peruse the Hyatt website to find some aspirational redemptions. We've compiled a list of some of our absolute favorites. And if you have a growing family like mine, suites are a great way to ensure everyone has room to spread out during a trip with young children.

An Award for Everyone

The notion of what constitutes an “aspirational hotel booking” is different for everyone. Some people want an island destination with an endless supply of refreshing cocktails. Others want to imitate royalty in a ginormous suite overlooking snow-covered mountains. Still others think of multi-room residences where they can invite all their friends.

Regardless of your preferences, Hyatt's unique portfolio of properties has something for everyone. In this post, we'll be focused specifically on amazing suites that anyone can book with Hyatt points. That means no elite status or “social engineering” is required. All you need is a free World of Hyatt account and some points to spend.

Huge Hyatt Suites Bookable With Points

We haven't set a minimum square footage requirement by which to judge a room. Instead, I've narrowed the list to what I consider the most interesting options, alternating between U.S. and international destinations. This is admittedly subjective, but since I'm basing this post on my own aspirational searches, I get to make the rules!

Note that the price (in points) per night listed is the standard rate, per Hyatt's award chart. Hyatt uses a peak and off-peak pricing model to set its award rates. So a suite could cost more or fewer points, depending on the dates of your stay.

Hyatt Regency Orlando

Orlando is a popular destination for many families. The Hyatt Regency Orlando is primarily a convention hotel, but is situated very close to Universal Studios (and its new Epic Universe park) and a short drive to Walt Disney World. The property also features a resort-style pool complex, so it's a great fit for leisure stays as well.

Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort

Located right on the South China Sea, the Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort is an absolute steal. Base-level rooms here cost only 5,000 points per night, and the standard suite, the Regency Suite King, costs 8,000 points a night. Travelers with top-tier Hyatt Globalist status can use their Suite Upgrade Awards for this room type. But even if you're not a top-tier member, it's bookable on points. I love that the room includes breakfast and club access, which is quite a deal.

Park Hyatt New York

The Park Hyatt New York is a Category 8 property, making this a pricey redemption. But, with room rates soaring over $1,400 points night, that still makes for a reasonable points value. The ability to use points for a massive room right next to Central Park makes this a fun option in the city.

Andaz Costa Rica Papagayo

The Andaz Costa Rica is one of my favorite stays ever with World of Hyatt (I just wish it was still a Category 4!). The property has become very popular in recent years, so award availability can be tough to find in peak season. This is one property that was a part of the major Hyatt devaluation in 2025, and is now a Category 8 property.

This suite is fantastic for its views of the bay, made better by large patio doors that swing open to let nature into the suite. Just note that the local monkeys can be a bit meddlesome, so don't leave windows open unattended!

Alila Napa Valley

The Alila Napa has been on my list for quite some time, but at 40,000 points a night for standard room nights, it will have to be a special occasion! The hotel's suites are pretty expensive and have amazing views of the main draw in Napa: the vineyards.

Scottsdale has become a very popular destination in recent years, especially for wellness retreats. The Andaz Scottsdale is a favorite of ours — we're local, and a staycation usually happens once a year. Don't miss breakfast at Weft + Warp!

Multi-Bedroom Suites

Not everyone travels alone or as a couple. If you're looking for a room with extra beds and more privacy, a multi-bedroom suite might be the solution.

With any hotel program, these suites are a bit trickier to lock down with points. Not only are these rooms rarer in general, but they can be incredibly expensive. Thus, it's typically less expensive to book multiple standard rooms than it is to book one multi-room suite.

However, exceptions do exist! And since I recognize that many folks look for places they can take the whole family, I've scouted around for some unique options.

Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort

This first suite is a fantastic beach getaway option for a family or group of friends. Situated along the “Millionaire's Mile” of Kamala Beach, the Hyatt Regency Phuket delivers incredible water activities and glorious views over the Andaman Sea.

The Two-Bedroom Regency Suite provides plenty of space and two separate bedrooms to give larger parties their privacy. It also provides an awesome balcony perfect for a sunset cocktail gathering. All this for as few as 21,000 points per night for off-peak dates. Even better, this is technically a standard suite, so Globalists and those with Suite Night Awards could possibly score this suite for less. If you're looking for a premium suite with an ocean view, that's available for as few as 24,000 points per night.

The Lodge at Spruce Peak

The Lodge at Spruce Creek is part of Hyatt's “Destination Hotels” brand. Like a Hyatt Vacation Club, rooms typically include a kitchen and more home-like furnishings. Situated in the village of Stowe, Vermont, it's the only ski-in/ski-out property in town, so the extra space is needed with all the gear. Fans of warm mountain lodge decor with stunning mountain vistas and raging fireplaces will feel right at home.

There are three room types here offering two bedrooms, all of which are priced at the “Premium Suite” level of 70,000 to 90,000 points per night. The best of the three is the Alpine Two Bedroom Suite. All suites are on the top floor with private balconies and gorgeous views of the mountain slopes. And while some may balk at the 70K price tag, it actually offers stellar value in peak season when cash rates run as high as $1,700 per night!

Park Hyatt Mendoza

If you're a wine connoisseur, you've probably heard of this beautiful region of Argentina. Bordering the Andes Mountains, it's home to dozens of high-altitude vineyards famed for crafting Malbecs and other red wines.

The Park Hyatt's facade is that of a twentieth-century neo-classical French Academy. It's located in the city center, just across the street from Plaza Independencia. Naturally, all the rooms here offer a luxurious setting with class, our minimalist decor. As a Category 4 property, Premium Suites cost as few as 24,000 points per night for off-peak dates. For that price, the Governors Suite offers almost 1,400 square feet and three beds.

It's been a few years since I've visited the property, but if you're visiting Mendoza, the hotel is located in the perfect part of the region, making winery access easy.

Bottom Line

Hyatt's fantastic award chart is unique among hotel loyalty programs. There's no need to pay absurd award rates (like Hilton Honors) or pray for complimentary upgrades that are no longer a benefit (like Marriott Bonvoy) to secure a premium suite. No, Hyatt allows even non-elite members to snag incredible rooms for a reasonable number of points.

Whether you're looking to book a two-bedroom suite or simply on a mission to house the whole family, be sure to click those “Standard Suite” or “Premium Suite” tabs in your search. You never know what you may find.
