It’s back! Bank of America has announced the date for More Rewards Day 2025. On November 6, 2025, cardholders can earn an extra 2X points, 2X miles, or 2% cash back on up to $2,500 in purchases. Better yet, these rewards come in addition to your card's standard earnings.

Bank of America More Rewards Day Is Happening on November 6, 2025

Bank of America’s More Rewards Day is set for November 6, 2025. On that day, cardholders will earn an extra 2% cash back with cash back cards, 2X points with points-earning cards such as the Bank of America® Travel Rewards credit card, or 2X miles with miles-earning cards. Even non-rewards credit cards will earn 2% cash back.

Cardholders can earn extra rewards on the first $2,500 in purchases. That means up to $50 in cash back, 5,000 points, or 5,000 miles.

All purchases up to a sum of $2,500 qualify as long as they’re made on November 6, 2025, between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. If you’re in Central, Mountain, or Pacific Time, adjust your spending window accordingly. Even if a transaction posts to your account after the 6th, it will still earn the bonus rewards as long as you made the purchase on that day.

Balance transfers, cash advances, fees, and interest charges don’t count. But gift cards aren’t excluded, so you could buy them on November 6 and use them later if you don't have other purchases to make.

Which cards are eligible for Bank of America More Rewards Day?

Cardholders can earn 6% cash back for the first year in a category of their choice, including options like gas and EV charging stations, online shopping/cable/internet/phone plan/streaming, dining, travel, drug store/pharmacy or home improvement/furnishing purchases (then 3%). Additionally, the card offers 2% cash back at grocery stores and wholesale clubs.   • Balance transfers, cash advances, fees, and interest charges are not eligible purchases.
  • Rewards will post to the member's account within two billing cycles after the promotion.
  • Those earning Preferred Rewards will still earn their respective bonuses. However, the Preferred Rewards bonus won't apply on top of the More Rewards bonus.

Our Take

On November 6, 2025, Bank of America cards will be more rewarding than usual. A card that normally earns 1% cash back or 2X points on certain purchases will instead earn 3% cash back or 4X points. If you’re planning a big purchase or several smaller ones, it’s a good idea to move your Bank of America card to the front of your wallet and use it on More Rewards Day.
