It's not very often you can mention national parks, glamping, and bonus points in the same sentence. But that's the deal right now, as World of Hyatt is offering four promotions tied to Under Canvas stays:
- Earn 2,000 bonus World of Hyatt points per night at Under Canvas, ULUM, and Outdoor Collection properties on stays completed by July 1, 2026.
- Hyatt cardholders can earn up to 20X total points per dollar spent on Under Canvas stays completed by September 8, 2026.
- Earn 1 bonus American Airlines AAdvantage mile per dollar spent at Under Canvas locations on stays completed by September 13, 2026.
- Receive a 15% rebate on eligible award stays completed by December 1, 2026.

What Is Under Canvas?
Under Canvas has been a part of the Hyatt portfolio since mid-2024. Originally, it was a fixture of the Mr & Mrs Smith portfolio, which also integrated with World of Hyatt.

Earn 2,000 Bonus Points per Night on Under Canvas Stays
This Hyatt Under Canvas promotion offers 2,000 bonus points per eligible night spent at all 14 Under Canvas properties, plus ULUM Moab, The Fields of Michigan, and Bar N Ranch. This promotion requires registration and is valid for stays between March 13 and July 1, 2026.
At the top end, you can earn up to 60,000 points through this offer, which equates to 30 nights spent at participating properties.
Just as a reminder, World of Hyatt counts an eligible night as one where you pay an “eligible rate” or redeem a free night award. So, even if you choose to use Hyatt points (for dynamic value) on an Under Canvas stay, you’re still eligible for these bonus points.

Hyatt Cardholders: Earn 20X Total Points on Under Canvas Stays
This Under Canvas promotion is available to those with The World of Hyatt Credit Card (Rates & Fees) or World of Hyatt Business Credit Card (Rates & Fees). After registering, cardholders can earn 20X total points per $1 spent on stays at all Under Canvas locations (plus ULUM Moab, The Fields of Michigan, and Bar N Ranch) between June 1 and September 8, 2026.
The rewards you can earn through this offer break down as follows:
- Earn 11 bonus points per eligible $1 spent
- Earn 5 base points per eligible $1 spent as a World of Hyatt member
- Earn 4 bonus points per $1 spent on qualifying purchases at Hyatt hotels and resorts when paying with your World of Hyatt Card or Hyatt Business Card
Bonus points from this promotion will post within 3-4 weeks after checkout, and you can earn up to 100,000 bonus points.
Even better, the terms state that this offer can be combined with other promotions. That means you can stack this with the 2,000 bonus points per night offer (mentioned above) to maximize your rewards.
Earn Bonus American Airlines Miles on Under Canvas Stays
World of Hyatt is also offering 1 bonus American Airlines AAdvantage mile per eligible dollar spent on Under Canvas stays completed between June 5 and September 13, 2026. Like the other offers, this one requires registration by September 12.
Better yet, the bonus AAdvantage miles you earn through this offer are in addition to the World of Hyatt points you'll earn on the stay itself, including any eligible on-property spending.
Bonus miles earned through this offer will post to your account within 3–4 weeks of checkout, and Hyatt has not published a cap on the number of bonus miles you can earn.
Get a 15% Points Rebate on Award Stays
But wait, there's more. World of Hyatt is also offering a 15% rebate on Under Canvas stays booked with points. To take advantage of this offer, you'll need to register by November 30, 2026, and book and complete eligible stays by December 1, 2026.
There's no cap on the number of Hyatt points you can get back, and Hyatt says you'll receive your rebate within 2-3 weeks of checking out.
Lastly, nothing in the terms indicates that this offer can't be stacked with the promotions above, provided you register and make a booking that qualifies for more than one offer.
Final Thoughts
Depending on who you are, vacationing in a tent might be a hard sell. But if you're interested in getting outdoors and exploring a national park, it's worth registering for Hyatt's latest promotions.
