Through February 3, 2025, United MileagePlus members will earn up to 1,000 bonus miles per car rental with Avis and Budget when booking through cars.united.com. These bonus miles stack with the up-to-1,250 base miles you can earn as a United elite status holder, plus the standing offer for up-to-35% off base rates.
The number of miles you can earn through this offer depends first on how long you keep your rental. It's broken down as follows:
- Rentals of 3-4 consecutive days: Earn 750 bonus miles.
- Rentals of 5+ consecutive days: Earn 1,000 bonus miles.
Members can earn a maximum of 1,000 bonus miles per rental day. Better yet, the terms and conditions don't say you can't repeat the offer multiple times, so you can potentially earn several thousand bonus miles by renting cars through February of next year.

The bonus United miles you can earn from this offer come on top of the usual miles you will earn on your car rental as a MileagePlus elite or a United cardholder. At most, you can earn up to 1,250 bonus miles per rental thanks to your elite status or United credit card.

- Premier Silver and Premier Gold: Earn 1,000 miles per rental.
- All United Chase cardholders: Earn 750 miles per rental.

Terms and conditions
- Members must book and complete an eligible rental by February 3, 2025.
- The 30% Budget discount or 35% Avis discount applies to the base rate only.
- Use this link to make an advance reservation for the rental.
- A maximum of 1,250 bonus miles can be earned per rental in addition to base miles earned on the rental — plus what you earn as a MileagePlus elite status holder or United credit card holder.
- Only participating airport and off-airport rental locations in the U.S., Canada, and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) are valid. Rentals in Mexico are valid for Avis but not Budget.
- Only paid rentals earn bonus miles, not those reserved with points or miles.
- Members will receive the miles in their United account within eight weeks of completing eligible rentals.
