Chase just launched another round of targeted promotions for bonus points on spending with co-branded credit cards. This time, Chase is offering up to 10X bonus points on select travel purchases and 5X bonus points on gas, groceries, and travel purchases made from April 1 to June 30, 2022. Plus, some cards are targeted to earn up to 15k bonus points for reaching specific spending thresholds.

Here are all of these promotions and links for you to enroll in them.

New Chase Co-Branded Credit Card Spending Promotion

Similar to the Chase co-branded bonus points promotion we saw earlier this year, eligible cards have slightly different promotions based on the card's branding, plus a general offer for bonus points which is consistent.

This time around, you will receive up to 10 bonus points per dollar spent on the issuing company's services or products (airline, hotel, etc), plus 5x points on gas stations and grocery stores through June 30, 2022. Some cards also have an additional 5x points for a travel category, Some cardholders have also reported receiving 7x bonus points on the three main categories (travel, gas, and grocery).

There is a cap of $1,500 in spending at the bonus rate for each card.

Note that some cardholders are targeted for offers while other cardholders of the same card aren't targeted. You'll have to check each of your cards to see if you qualify for the promotion. Simply go to the promotion page of the respective card and put in your name, last four digits of your card number, and zip code.

Our Take

If you didn't receive an email targeting you for any of these promotions, check the links above using the information for each of your cards. You may have a Chase card (or several) that qualifies for a bonus points promotion. Some people are having more than one card accepted, while others are seeing the same cards turned down.

Do you have a Chase co-branded credit card that is eligible for any of the bonus points promotions? Which one do you think is the best?

  • Not targeted 🙁

  • Aw. I wasn’t targeted for any. Oh well. I hope that Chase will bring in more transferring bonuses.

  • For some reason the sign up pages did not work for my IHG or Marriott cards.

    • I’ve seen others post that the generic sign-up pulls up the old offers sometimes, but the dedicated links should get you to the new sign-up pages.

  • Well, I got the messages that my United Gateway card is not eligible for either this promotion or the recent 5X promotion. But there are always my Chase Ultimate Rewards cards and Amex Membership Rewards cards with their everyday multi-points spend categories.

Thanks much for providing the individual links. I was able to sign up for the United and Marriott cards using the links.

  • Something is wrong with the links or with Chase. My Chase cards are all on the list above. However, for two of the cards, it keeps telling me I’ve entered an invalid CVC. For the last card, it recognized everything and then told me the card does not qualify. Does anyone know what is going on with this?

    • Hmm, the first issue may be a bug. I’ve had that happen before and later realized it was because they had mailed me a replacement card with a new CVV. As far as 2nd issue, this is targeted (we don’t know the criteria) so it’s possible that you have the card, but aren’t eligible for the offer.

  • Eligible across a number of these cards but probably won’t be able to take full advantage. I wonder what qualifies as “travel”?

  • It looks like Chase is making it more attractive to use their cards for travel and gas. Thanks for the great summary and registration links.

  • Is there an algorithm that determines the targeted audience? I don’t know what I’m doing “wrong”, but I never seem to be alerted/targeted for promotions like this.

Thankfully, you guys are on top of it and I was able to use the link above to register. So grateful for this knowledge-sharing community so no one has to miss out on opportunities to maximize returns.

  • Just got 5X/5% on my IHG/Amazon cards. Nothing on my British Airways card, which is where I wish there was something. I’ll try again next month, who knows? It’s fun when there is a bonus.

Seems like a big push from Chase to capture travel bookings.
