JetBlue may be a younger airline compared to the legacy carriers, but it has built a loyal following thanks to friendly service, free Wi-Fi, and its well-regarded Mint premium cabin. JetBlue rewards its frequent flyers through its TrueBlue loyalty program — a generally fixed-value program that's become much more valuable with the addition of several partner airlines.
If you're earning JetBlue TrueBlue points, you might be wondering if your JetBlue points expire. Thankfully, JetBlue offers a generous points-expiration policy. Here’s everything you need to know about how JetBlue’s policy works — plus how to earn TrueBlue points.
Do JetBlue Points Expire?
JetBlue TrueBlue points do not expire as long as your TrueBlue account is open. Per the JetBlue terms and conditions page:
“TrueBlue points do not expire. Should a member close their TrueBlue account, the points in that account will be terminated.”
The only time that you can lose your points without closing your account is if you violate JetBlue's rules:
“As set forth in these Program Rules, JetBlue has the right to cancel all or some of the points in a TrueBlue member's account should JetBlue determine, in its sole discretion, that the member has violated these Rules or otherwise engaged in fraud, misrepresentation, abuse or other improper conduct.”

Use AwardWallet to Track Your JetBlue Points Balance
Although JetBlue points do not expire, that is not an excuse not to keep a close eye on them. Letting a balance build up without redemptions puts your points at risk of devaluation. Your best option is to use AwardWallet to keep track of your JetBlue points balance so that you can strike and book your award as soon as you reach a redemption threshold.
Adding JetBlue to your AwardWallet account is easy; simply log in to your account and link your TrueBlue account in AwardWallet, and you'll get updates when your balance changes, for good or bad.

Our Take
JetBlue points aren't the most valuable airline rewards available, but JetBlue stands out by making it simple to turn your rewards into travel. JetBlue TrueBlue points do not expire, and this expiration policy is one of the many reasons to like the TrueBlue program. TrueBlue members have one less thing to worry about, knowing that their points won't expire as long as they keep their TrueBlue account open.
