If you're an IHG One Rewards member and haven't already downloaded the IHG app, now is a good time to do so. First, you'll need to register for this promotion. After doing so, download the IHG app and log in before December 31, 2025; you'll earn 500 bonus points. It's not a lot of points, but you barely have to do anything to get them.
You can download the IHG app from the App Store or Google Play. Once you do so, you can log into your IHG account to claim the bonus. It's worth noting that members who have previously downloaded the app aren't eligible.
Installing the IHG app is a good idea, even if you won't use it often. It makes hotel bookings and stays easier, and some IHG promotions are only available if you book through the app.
