If you’re not an IHG One Rewards member yet, it’s easy and rewarding to sign up. Enrollment is free, and you’ll earn 3,000 bonus points when you book and complete a paid stay of at least one night (with a minimum spend of $30 per night) within 21 days of joining. Award stays don’t count toward this offer.
This offer is valid through December 31, 2026, and can only be redeemed once. Bonus points will post to your account within six weeks after your stay.

Earn up to 3X points on eligible stays worldwide
IHG is back with another global promotion. First, members must register for this promotion, and preregistration is already open. After registering, members will earn either 2X or 3X points on eligible stays at participating properties completed between October 1 and December 31, 2026.
Bonus points start with the second stay and continue for all subsequent stays during the promotion period. You won't earn bonus points on your first stay during the promotional period.
Stays booked through the IHG One Rewards App (when accessed via HarmonyOS, Android, or iOS), WeChat, or LINE earn triple points. All other stays earn double points. Members can earn unlimited bonus points during the promotion window.

10,000 bonus points every 2 nights at Ruby Hotels in Europe
In February 2025, IHG acquired Ruby Hotels as its 20th brand. These hotels feature unique designs, large beds, 24-hour bars, and more. Earlier this year, the brand was fully integrated into the IHG One Rewards program, and members can now earn and redeem points at Ruby Hotels.
IHG has launched its first promotion for Ruby Hotels, and it's a sweet one. Through November 4, 2026, members can earn 10,000 bonus points for every two non-consecutive nights at Ruby Hotels throughout Europe. This offer has no limit on how many bonus points you can earn. Make sure to register for the promotion before booking your first stay.

Occasionally, IHG One Rewards also offers targeted promotions. Beyond the fact that you need to be invited via email or try your luck registering through the link(s) below, it’s hard to know who’s targeted for these offers.
Here are the ones we know are currently active.
Earn 20,000 bonus points with a 2-night stay
This targeted offer lets invited IHG One Rewards members earn 20,000 bonus points after completing two nights within 60 days of registering for the promotion. You don't need to stay two consecutive nights, as long as you complete the second night within 60 days.
Again, this is a targeted offer. You'll need to either receive the email or find the offer in your IHG One Rewards account. However, you can always try to register for the offer if you didn't receive the email.
Earn up to 6,000 Bonus Points on September Stays
IHG is targeting select members with an offer to earn 2,000 bonus points for every two qualifying nights completed from September 1–30, 2026. You can earn up to 6,000 bonus points after six qualifying nights.
You must be invited and register for the promotion. Each night must cost more than $30 and be booked under a qualifying rate. Reward Nights, Points & Cash stays, and third-party bookings don’t qualify.
Earn Double Elite Night Credits
This targeted IHG promotion offers one bonus Elite Night Credit for each night you stay through September 30, 2026 — up to 10 bonus Elite Night Credits.
Registration is required, and you must book eligible stays of at least one night with a total spend of $30 or more. Nights booked using points or Points + Cash aren’t eligible.
Partner IHG Promotions
Occasionally, IHG runs promotions with its partners that let you earn bonus points or miles by switching your earning preference. Currently, we don't know of any such offers.
Buy Elite-Qualifying IHG Points During Booking
If you’re planning to earn IHG One Rewards elite status this year, don’t forget that, depending on the property and the rate you select, you can purchase up to 5,000 elite-qualifying points per night. IHG typically offers several promotions at once, and right now is one of those times. The newest global promotion offers up to triple points on eligible stays between October 1 and December 31, starting from the second stay. You can also earn 10,000 bonus points every two nights stayed at Ruby Hotels through November 4, 2026.
