Holiday Inn Club Vacations has a new promotion offering 50,000 bonus IHG One Rewards points and a discounted three-night vacation package. The catch? You’ll need to attend a two-hour timeshare presentation. If you’re ready to say “no” — or at least negotiate a price you'd want to pay — here’s what you need to know about the latest Holiday Inn Club Vacations offer.
What Is Holiday Inn Club Vacations?
Holiday Inn Club Vacations is IHG's timeshare company — similar to Hilton Grand Vacations, Hyatt Vacation Club, and Wyndham Resorts. Holiday Inn Club Vacations currently has 30 locations around the U.S. The newest locations are in Galveston, Texas, and Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Puerto Morelos in Mexico.
At these resorts, IHG One Rewards members can buy a timeshare — a stake in the property that gives owners a designated amount of time they can stay there each year. Timeshares range in price from $5,995 to $567,390.
Current IHG Holiday Inn Club Vacations Promotions
Holiday Inn Club Vacations has long offered promotions that let you experience the resorts, attend a sales presentation, and earn a reward — even if you do not commit buying a timeshare. Right now, there are a few ongoing offers.
One option is a three-night stay starting at $199 that includes 50,000 points after you attend a timeshare presentation. Depending on the destination, this may be at a nearby hotel or at the resort itself, though staying at the resort can bump the price up to $249.
Other, less valuable offers include a three-night stay for $199 with 10,000 points, or a three-night stay for $199 with $100 cash back. Keep in mind these prices don't include taxes or resort fees, which can range from $5 to $60 per night depending on the property.
Part of the stay includes a timeshare presentation lasting up to two hours, but that's the only commitment. After attending, you'll earn up to 50,000 bonus points or $100 cash back. And you're free to say “no” at the end without losing your discounted stay or the reward.
Once booked, you’ll have 12 months from the booking date to travel and attend the presentation. You can change your dates or destination for a $19.95 rebooking fee. Peak-season and major holiday stays come with extra nightly charges of $39 for hotels and $59 for resorts. And unless otherwise noted, packages can include up to four people.
Any changes made within 72 hours of arrival or no-shows incur a $99 one-night fee. If you take the trip but don’t attend the timeshare presentation, or if you’re disqualified for any reason, you’ll be charged the full package price or $300 plus any applicable premiums, whichever is greater.

Qualifications for Holiday Inn Club Vacations Packages and Presentations
- Must be gainfully employed and not in bankruptcy at the time of the presentation, including an annual household income of at least $50,000.
- Must be at least 25 years old, and any spouse must be at least 21 years old.
- Members can only book these packages once every 12 months and three per lifetime.
- Employees of a timeshare company or hotel are ineligible.
- Married couples must attend the presentation together.
- This package is only available to solo or couple travelers, plus up to two children. Groups are not eligible. Families consisting of two or more couples must book packages at least 7 days apart.
Our Take
As long as you're willing to sit through a timeshare presentation, these Holiday Inn Club Vacations promotions can let you book a cheap vacation plus score some bonus points or cash back.
For reference, AwardWallet members have recently redeemed IHG points for an average of 0.68¢ each. Therefore, 50,000 IHG points are worth around $340, and 10,000 points are worth around $68. Once the 50,000 points promotion expires on September 30, the $100 cash back offer is better than the 10,000 points promotion, unless you value your points differently.
Just make sure to calculate the full cost of your trip before booking, as travel and other fees are separate. And make sure you are fully qualified to attend the presentation. Otherwise, you will be billed the full price of the package.
