Not to be confused with Spontaneous Escapes, Singapore Airlines launched what it calls a “KrisFlyer Global Redemption Sale.” In simpler terms, Singapore Airlines is discounting awards by 25% on over a hundred routes across all classes of travel. But this sale won't last long; the last day you can book Singapore awards with a significant discount is September 22, 2024.
Here are the details on Singapore's Global Redemption Sale.
Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Award Sale: Save 25% on Select Routes
Singapore Airlines is putting the majority of its route network on sale, shaving the cost of saver awards by 25%. Taking advantage of this discount is an easy way to fly for fewer miles.
Before we get to the deals, we'll note the terms. You must book your saver award by September 22, 2024, for travel between January 15 and May 29, 2025. Blackout dates apply, and they vary by route. You can view the full list of discounted itineraries and blackout dates here.
There's no special promo code; just head to Singapore Airlines' website, log in and book an award like normal. If an award is discounted, you'll see the words “Promo From” in the fare menu. The taxes and fees aren't discounted, but most flights have a low out-of-pocket cost as it is — think $5.60 for flights from the U.S. to Singapore.

KrisFlyer Global Redemption Sale eligible routes
Like Singapore Airlines' monthly drop of Spontaneous Escapes, the list of discounted itineraries is rather large. However, it's a little smaller if you're looking to travel to or from the United States. Four such options exist, and all are in premium economy:
- Singapore (SIN) to San Francisco (SFO) on SQ34 — 56,250 KrisFlyer miles per way.
- San Francisco (SFO) to Singapore (SIN) on SQ33 — 56,250 KrisFlyer miles per way.
- Singapore (SIN) to New York (JFK) on SQ24 — 60,375 KrisFlyer miles per way.
- Newark (EWR) to Singapore (SIN) on SQ21 — 60,375 KrisFlyer miles per way.
All four flights are by no means short; the latter two clock in at almost 19 hours! Redeeming just over 60,000 KrisFlyer miles for a flight that long is a pretty good deal. Singapore's premium economy is excellent, too.

If you're starting from another continent, you can find several options in economy. Options abound from Europe, Asia, the South Pacific, and more. Most discounted itineraries in business class are limited to Africa and Asia, so keep this in mind before looking for a deal in a lie-flat seat.

How To Earn Singapore Airlines Miles
Short on KrisFlyer miles? The easiest way to earn a bundle is to initiate a transfer from a credit card rewards program or Marriott Bonvoy. However, be sure to double-check transfer times; some programs take up to a few days to complete your conversion.

Final Thoughts
If you're looking to make some travel plans for early next year, Singapore Airlines has marked down several award itineraries by 25%. It's a generous discount, but there are some route limitations — especially if you plan to fly to or from the United States. But if you find something you like, act fast. The last day you can make a reservation is September 22, 2024.
