Card companies are always looking for ways to provide additional benefits to their card members. Often, this comes in the form of third-party partnerships. The value of these benefits and partnerships depends on how often you use the services — and whether you're just using them because they're available but wouldn't use them otherwise.
A service you never use doesn't provide much benefit. On the other hand, a credit card may offer a benefit with a third-party service that you use frequently. In that case, it can truly provide outstanding value.
With ride-hailing a common part of many people's travel plans, let's take a look at all of the Lyft benefits available through credit cards.
Get Lyft Pink All Access With the Chase Sapphire Reserve®
Many Chase Ultimate Rewards credit cards currently offer increased earning benefits on Lyft rides, but an added benefit of the Chase Sapphire Reserve® is that cardholders receive 2 complimentary years of Lyft Pink All Access membership. In order to get this perk, cardholders need to register by December 31, 2024.
Lyft Pink offers a variety of different benefits, but two of the most popular are 5% savings on all car rides and priority pickups. You do need to pay for your Lyft ride with your Sapphire Reserve to get the 5% savings, which means that you can't combine it with the credits for World Elite Mastercard holders.
Lyft Pink All Access normally costs $199 annually, and your membership will auto-renew after your complimentary membership ends. The renewal price will be discounted by 50% for a year and then the full price in ensuing years. If you don't want to pay ~$100 for your next year of Lyft Pink, set a reminder to cancel your membership after your free trial period.
Note that Lyft business profiles are not eligible for this perk.
Increased Lyft Earning Rates with Other Chase Cards
In addition to the Sapphire Reserve benefits listed above, numerous credit cards from Chase have increased earning rates on Lyft, though they vary by card:
- 10x total points on Lyft rides + 2 years of complimentary Lyft Pink membership per account:
- Sapphire Reserve
- J.P. Morgan Reserve card
- 5x total points on Lyft rides:
- Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card
- Chase Sapphire® Card
- Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card
- Ink Plus® Business Credit Card
- 5% total cash back on Lyft rides:
Note that the figures are the total earning rate, not “in addition” to normal earning. The earning rates listed in this section run through March 31, 2025.
Grubhub Benefits with Lyft Pink
Another Lyft Pink benefit from holding the Sapphire Reserve is with Grubhub. Lyft Pink members get one year of Grubhub+ free of charge. Like many delivery service premium memberships, Grubhub+ offers waived delivery fees and access to additional promotions. This can be quite useful if you order with these delivery companies regularly.
Lyft Credits for World Elite Mastercard Holders
If you have a World Elite Mastercard, you can get a $5 credit with Lyft when you take three rides in a calendar month and pay for them with your World Elite Mastercard.
Previously, you could earn up to $15 in Lyft credits with your World Elite Mastercard, but the benefit was downgraded in April 2021.
World Elite Mastercards are a type of Mastercard that offers elite benefits on top of the benefits offered by the individual card issuer. The IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card and Citi Premier® Card are two examples of World Elite Mastercards.

Earn Points and Miles Through Lyft Partnerships
Lyft has partnerships with a growing number of travel partners. Currently, you can choose between earning Hilton Honors points, Delta SkyMiles, Alaska Mileage Plan miles, or Bilt Rewards points on Lyft rides. This is in addition to the credit card rewards or cashback earnings that you'll earn from actually paying for your Lyft ride.
To take advantage of this, you will need to link your Hilton, Delta, Alaska, or Bilt account to your Lyft account. Once you do, you can earn:
- Delta: 1 SkyMile per dollar spent on all rides or 2x SkyMiles on rides to airport locations
- Hilton: 3 Hilton points per dollar spent on economy, luxury, and extra-seat rides or 2x Hilton points on shared rides.
- Alaska: 1 Alaska Mileage Plan mile per dollar spent on Lyft
- Bilt: 2 Bilt Rewards points per dollar spent on Lyft rides. Plus, earn an additional 3x Bilt points if you pay with a The Bilt Mastercard® for a total of 5x Bilt points.

Bottom Line
Depending on what credit cards are in your wallet, you could earn handsomely on Lyft rides or enjoy other perks like priority pickups and waived cancellation fees. While some of these bonus earnings and bonus perks are temporary, others have no end date.
